t is with a very sad and heavy heart we all meet here today to remember, honor and say goodbye to our very good friend Maff. Dan was very well known and a regular in several conservative online communities over the years. He had a heart of gold & touched many lives. Dan was loved by his many friends. Dan was always tremendously easygoing and supportive, regardless of any particular situation. In more than an entire decade of interacting with him, I can’t recall even one instance when he ever became upset about anything. He always seemed to have only good words to say to everyone. He also had a charming, if sometimes subdued sense of humor which could always put you at ease. I’ll miss his “I’ll leave the light on for you, Darlin'” goodnight, evening sign-off messages.

Dan was conservative American patriot who loved his country. He was always tremendously positive and supportive. Dan was incredibly strong. Although he spent his last few years struggling with serious health issues, he avoided discouragement while he continued to carry on; always bouncing back to beat the odds against him. Dan was also a devout Christian, so we can take some comfort in his passing he was saved, is no longer in pain and now rejoices in his liberation from the sufferings of mortal life in this fallen world. Godspeed Dan until we meet again. Thank you for blessing us all with your wonderful presence and friendship. You will be deeply missed.
