☆ FLAT OUT Volume 1: The Plymouth Barracuda ☆

Hi, Folks. Welcome to FLAT OUT.

I’ve been a car guy my entire life, ever since I was 7 years old and got a Mustang pedal car for Christmas. I waxed that baby every chance I got and babied it like a real car. Since then I have owned 23 cars, both foreign and domestic, and 7 motorcycles. I could say I’ve owned a few cars…American, Japanese, German, British and Italian. This feature will mainly focus on ’60s and early ’70s muscle cars, but I may throw a classic sports car or motorcycle in now and again to shake things up a bit. The muscle car can trace its origins back to the Hudson Hornet and Oldsmobile Rocket 88 of the ’50s, but crystallized its form with the introduction of the Pontiac GTO and similar cars in 1964…good looking, affordable, lightweight, high-performance American cars built for the Baby Boom generation coming of age at that time. But I’m not here to talk about the GTO…yet. I’m a Mopar guy, I have been since the ’70s. Today’s thread is to showcase, educate and inform you about one of my favorite cars of all time:
