Republicans could flip six congressional seats in California in November based on primary results. Four additional seats are enough to make GOP candidates competitive. Democrats, on the other hand, don’t seem to have an easy path open to even one seat currently held by a Republican.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) and four Republican colleagues say it’s time to “rein-in” the “lavish” salaries of hundreds of employees of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). “The CFPB is a dangerously unaccountable agency, and its lavish spending on employee salaries is just one example,” Enzi said March 3 in a statement announcing the bill.
