Hamas Rejoices As UK, Australia & Canada Recognize Palestinian State

delighted Hamas terrorist organization acknowledged the recognition of a Palestinian state by the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia in a Sunday statement, applauding the appeasement move as “an important step” and reward for its murderous anti-Israel activities.

So whether or not the leftist governments of the UK, under PM Keir Starmer, Canada under Carney and Australia under Albanese, intended it that way or it was a happy accident that the UN’s latest session to empower terrorists had the perfect timing, what does matter is that they gave the terrorists what they wanted.

The idea of recognizing a ‘Palestinian’ state is an inherent absurdity. There are no such thing as ‘Palestinians,’ just local Arab Muslims who decided to pick another name out of history, and there’s no state, just two enclaves run by two separate but loosely allied Islamic terror groups, the PLO and Hamas, which have never been able to manage their own affairs, which is why the UN, funded by us, actually provides everything for them.

And when there isn’t enough global welfare or they’re feeling extra whiny, they start shouting about “famine.”

So what is the basis for recognizing a ‘Palestinian’ state? History? No. Notable accomplishments? Culture? Nah. There’s only one recent extraordinary accomplishment on which to base the Starmer/Carney/Albanese recognition; October 7.

Emmanuel Macron’s special adviser on the Middle East says France’s move to recognise a Palestinian state will unleash a “small diplomatic tsunami” and “create momentum” for other countries to follow suit.

Ofer Bronchtein, who previously advised former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin during the Oslo peace talks in the 1990s, argues the move is “essential to ensure Israel’s security.”

Today, the Palestinian flag is being flown at town halls across France ahead of the French government’s expected recognition of a Palestinian state at the UN General Assembly later today.

Nantes mayor Johanna Rolland writes on social media that her town is supporting the “historic decision of the French Republic by raising the Palestinian flag for the day.”

The French interior ministry urged town halls not to display the flag, pointing to “the principle of neutrality in public services” – but several towns in France have ignored the warnings.

Scotland’s first minister has described the UK government’s recognition of a Palestinian state as “a landmark moment.”

Speaking at an event hosted by the Palestinian Mission in London, John Swinney says there must be “follow-up action” including an end to the UK-Israel free trade agreement. Swinney said:

“There also has got to be an end to arms sales to Israel, a flow of humanitarian aid into Palestine and the release of hostages. There must be international solidarity with Palestine in supporting the people to be protected from this genocide and the establishment of a life of safety and security.”

The recognition of a Palestinian state on Sunday by the UK and other countries has led to discussion over how Israel will respond.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply condemned the decision, calling it a reward for terrorism following the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led assault that killed and abducted Israeli civilians.

Hamas, which is sworn to Israel’s destruction continued, said it was “a deserved outcome of our people’s struggle” and a stop to Israel’s war against it, which it labeled a “brutal genocide” in Gaza, must follow the declaration.

The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia announced on Sunday they now recognize Palestine as an independent state, despite accusations it would be rewarding the Islamist Hamas terrorists behind the October 7th terror attacks on Israel.

That move was immediately condemned by relatives of people still being held captive by the Palestinian terrorists after the October 7 terrorist massacre.

The Islamists responded to the appeasement from the three western nations even as UK Prime Minister Sir Starmer denied it would represent a “reward” for Hamas, saying his push for a two-state solution would be the “exact opposite of [Hamas’s] hateful vision,” as it would ultimately require the terror group to give up control of Gaza.

The PM further accused Jerusalem of conducting a “relentless and increasing bombardment of Gaza,” adding: “The starvation and devastation are utterly intolerable. Tens of thousands have been killed, including thousands as they tried to collect food and water. This death and destruction horrifies all of us. It must end.”

French President Emmanuel Macron claimed Thursday that recognizing a Palestinian state would isolate Hamas in an interview however its response has been totally opposite.

Recognition of a Palestinian state is being used as a form of pressure against Israel to stop the war in Gaza, which continues because Hamas refuses to release its remaining 48 Israeli hostages (20, at most, living).

Israel is also demanding that Hamas disarm and leave power so it cannot launch future terror attacks. There has been no official confirmation if Hamas terrorists have pass on the information about the so-called Palestinian “state” to the remaining Israeli hostages still being held and tortured by their captors.✪
