The New Democrat Party Platform Showcases Their Delusions About Who The Bad Guys Really Are

sking Kamala Harris and Democrats to fix the mess they’ve made over the past few years is kind of like expecting Agent Orange to cure non-Hodgkin lymphoma. 

The Democratic National Committee, with the complicit assistance of their accomplice media, is spending the better part of this week in Democrat-destroyed Chicago proclaiming that the same party which removed its inconveniently senile leader through a soft coup is the sentinel of democracy. 

The packaged delusion begins where you might expect; in the preamble to the 2024 Democrat Party Platform. Really, the opening paragraph is enough to boggle the mind. 

‘Incredible Abuse Of Tyranny’

The overture to this insane leftist opera asks: 

“Our nation is at an inflection point. What kind of America will we be? A land of more freedom, or less freedom? More rights or fewer? An economy rigged for the rich and powerful, or where everyone has a fair shot at getting ahead? Will we lower the temperature in our politics and come together, or treat each other as enemies instead?”

Of course, t is entirely true that this divided and dispirited republic is indeed at an “inflection point.” We are here on the map of history because of the horrible things a demented Democrat president and his allies in the Marxist American Left have done to this nearly 250-year-old republic with a representative democracy. 

The same speech-killing regime that has choked the First Amendment and chewed up the rights of women and parents is a poor protector of liberty. The same big government operators that have so weakened separation of powers and the basic tenets of federalism audaciously declare another Donald Trump presidency will erode democracy. 

The same autocrats who locked down Americans, shut down schools and churches, and forced small businesses to shutter is insisting that four more years of Democrat control will deliver “more freedom” and “more rights?” 

Ask Lisa Hanson how that worked out. Hanson, a former wine and coffee bistro owner and grandmother of 18, was thrown into jail for resisting Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s lockdown decree during Covid. Walz, the Democrats’ vice presidential candidate, used and abused his pandemic-era power like a tyrant, Hanson told Fox News Digital: 

“He shut down a lot of the mom-and-pop shops, those folks that were just trying to make a living and provide a great product and a great service,” Hanson told the news outlet last week. “In contrast, he allowed big-box stores, etc., to stay open. Really incredible, an incredible use of tyranny against the people.” 

Talk about rigging an economy for the rich and powerful. Democrat governors across the country, from California to Wisconsin and Arizona to New York, did the same. Not everyone got a fair shot of getting ahead under Walz and his despotic ilk. The “folksy” socialist governor deemed bars, restaurants, health clubs, and hair salons “nonessential” businesses, while liquor stores, mega retailers, and strip clubs remained open.

‘A Genuine Threat To This Nation’

As for the “rich and powerful,” you’ll find plenty of them — from Big Tech oligarchs to woke corporate executives — pouring their fortunes into the Democrat Party and far-left causes. In fact, some may well be behind the quiet coup that jettisoned President Joe Biden and the inconvenient truth of his alarming senility from the presidential race.

Leftist power players like Netflix founder Reed Hastings and Abigail Disney quickly called on Biden to withdraw or be removed from his bid for a second term and threatened to freeze or pull donations from Democrats if the cognitively compromised octogenarian remained in the race. As the Democrat Party mouthpiece New York Times reported, “Democratic Billionaires and Donors Rushed” to back Biden’s vice president and presidential campaign replacement Kamala Harris when Biden was pushed aside. 

And a party that has weaponized federal law enforcement to go after its top political opponent and his supporters is not likely to “lower the temperature in our politics.” Biden campaigned as a unifier. Yet nearly four years later, this nation is more divided than ever.

He has unleashed the full force of the federal government on his predecessor, the man Democrats have hunted for the better part of the past decade. From unconstitutional campaigns to erase him from the ballot to extra-legal attempts to put him in jail, the leaders of the Democrat Party have whipped up their constituents with so much hatred and rage against Donald Trump that the former president came within centimeters of being murdered at the hands of an assassin. 

Two weeks before the assassination attempt, which corporate media have memory-holed, Biden posted on X that Trump is “a genuine threat to this nation. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat to everything America stands for.”

The Projection Convention

Not much has changed. Democrats have kept the political temperature at the boiling point. Here’s what they say about Trump and his “MAGA allies.”  Their platform preamble warns, irony glowing phosphorescent red from the screen” 

“They are eroding our democracy with lies and threats, have refused to denounce political violence, and are making it harder to vote. And given the chance, they’ll keep stacking our courts, locking in their extreme agenda for decades. We cannot let that happen.”

The obtuse tune continued during the convention’s opening night speeches, with leftist Michigan State Sen. Mallory McMorrow taking the booby prize for craziest political projection. Stoking the flames of the left’s latest phony bogeyman, Project 2025, McMorrow told the Chicago zombie crowd desperately searching for brains that, if elected, the former president could do what Democrats have done.

“Donald Trump would be able to weaponize the Department of Justice to go after his political opponents. He could even turn the FBI into his own personal police force,” the Democrat declared, omitting the fact that Biden has perfected weaponizing the DOJ to target his political opponents and conservatives at large — including parents criticizing their local leftist school boards. 

Much of the messaging from this week’s good vibration Democrat National Convention will hammer home the absurd talking point that the party that has used its power to limit liberties will save democracy. That’s like putting Kamala Harris in charge of investigating the root causes of the U.S. border crisis. 

The Democrat Party doesn’t need a convention, it needs a mirror. ✪
