VDH: A FOOLISH NATO IS THE BIG LOSER IN THE IRAN WAR

ddd

ATO members are not legally required to join any member’s military operations that are not formally sanctioned by the alliance or not aimed at protecting the homelands of the membership. But they often do just that.

Some NATO members joined the Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq on the theory that, in the post-9/11 environment, the Taliban and Saddam Hussein were dangers to all Western security.

They followed the precedent set by America’s 1999 intervention in the distant Balkans, leading a three-month NATO campaign to dismantle Slobodan Milošević’s often bloody ambitions of a Greater Serbia. The U.S. also joined the 2011 U.N.-approved, and French and British inspired NATO “coalition of the willing” bombing campaign in Libya.

That effort proved to be a seven month misadventure; especially since the targeted Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi had given up his nuclear weapons program and was desperately trying to cut a deal with the West.

When NATO members in the past have operated unilaterally to defend their own national interests, they have often called on the U.S., as NATO’s strongest member, for overt help.

For nearly 40 years, the U.S. had offered logistical, intelligence, reconnaissance, refueling, and diplomatic support to the French in their unilateral and postcolonial efforts to protect Chad from Libya; and later, Islamists.

During the 1982 Falklands War, a solitary Britain faced enormous logistical challenges in steaming halfway around the world to eject Argentina from its windswept and sparse Falkland Islands. U.S. aid was critical to their effort.

So America stepped up to help with intelligence, reconnaissance, the supply of some two million gallons of much-needed gasoline, and crucial restocking of Britain’s depleted Tomahawk missiles.

The American tilt to Britain prompted anger from most Latin American nations of the shared Western Hemisphere, as well as from many Hispanic American citizens at home.

No matter—Ronald Reagan rightly saw the importance of solidarity with a NATO member and a long-time American ally. So he gave Britain a veritable blank check for American aid.

Currently, America has not asked NATO members to help bomb Iran; even though Europe, not the U.S., was in range of Iranian ballistic missiles, and soon perhaps nuclear-tipped ones as well.

Europeans are far more vulnerable to Iranian-funded Islamic terrorism. They are more reliant on foreign oil from the Middle East, much of it passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

All the U.S. had initially asked for was basing support in disarming a common Western enemy which for nearly half a century, has slaughtered American diplomats and soldiers and tried to kill a U.S. president and secretary of state.

However, most NATO members could not even offer tacit help. Some damned the U.S. effort as either illegal or unnecessary.

The American public watched the British waffle for days over permitting Americans to use their Diego Garcia base. The Spanish banned American use of their NATO bases and airspace. The Italians refused a request from American bombers to land and refuel at a Sicilian NATO base.

Many NATO heads of state rebuked the U.S. to their domestic audiences while, in typical two-faced fashion, publicly offering empty verbal support for the U.S. effort. The NATO response to an Iranian missile aimed at fellow NATO member Turkey was anemic.

Even worse was the pathetic British reaction to another Iranian missile launch at a British base at Akrotiri, Cyprus.

Yet a successful American effort in neutering a theocratic Iran is clearly of benefit to Europe. So is preventing the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz from becoming a toll booth run by the Iranian mullahs.

Such passivity was in sharp contrast to the five year long Ukraine War on the borders of Europe. Ukraine is not in NATO. Yet Ukrainian politicos and ambassadors sometimes played an intrusive, partisan role in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 American presidential elections.

Nonetheless, there were urgent European requests for the U.S. to honor the spirit of NATO solidarity and to get across the Atlantic as quickly as possible to protect the territorial integrity of Europe.

Yet continental Europe is not intrinsically weak. The combined population of the European Union and European NATO members is around 450 million; a population more than 100 million greater than that of the U.S.

These same European nations enjoy an aggregate annual GDP of more than $22 trillion, 10 times the size of the Russian economy.

European diffidence comes on top of the perennial American effort to harangue NATO members to honor their 2 percent of GDP defense commitments; especially in the case of deadbeat Spain and Canada, who for years have welched on their pledges.

Trump’s harangues are not what is undermining NATO. Instead, he has ripped off the happy-face scab and exposed a festering wound of increasingly anti-American hypocrisy underneath.

If you wanted to wreck the alliance, there would be no better way than to follow the duplicitous examples of Western European NATO members. ✪

▶️ JB SHURK: IT’S TIME FOR EUROPE TO DEFEND ITSELF

JB SHURK: IT’S TIME FOR EUROPE TO DEFEND ITSELF

lll

our years ago, the Biden Administration was working with the United Kingdom and the European Commission to pay for diminutive comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s war with the Russian Federation over territories where supermajorities of the population identify as Russian. We were told the Russian-speaking people of Ukraine “belonged” to Ukraine and the only way to “preserve democracy” was to deny those people a democratic vote to join the Russian Federation. “Democracy” also apparently requires the installation of a Ukrainian dictator, a complete crackdown on an independent press, widespread censorship of public debate on social media, the denial of religious freedom, and a brutal campaign of press-ganging men into military service to die as cannon fodder for a corrupt Ukrainian regime which launders money from U.S. and European taxpayers into the bank accounts of the West’s political and financial elites.

Just as globalists in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and across Old (and increasingly Islamic) Europe turned the “Reign of COVID Terror” into an opportunity to bilk taxpayers, enrich elites, and grow the totalitarian national security State, the same globalist scum quickly turned the Ukraine conflict into another “emergency” requiring more taxes, censorship, and public sacrifice. All of a sudden, anything criticizing the official public policies of Western governments was labeled “Russian disinformation.” If you disagreed with whatever the West’s vaunted “experts” said, you were promptly dismissed as “Putin’s puppet.” Pro tip for information warfare enthusiasts: When government authorities identify dissent as “propaganda,” that’s the propaganda!

The COVID propaganda project gave us a chorus of World Economic Forum buffoons posing as national leaders all singing, “We must ‘Build Back Better.'” When that schtick got old; or rather, when ordinary citizens across the West started to show signs of resistance against their imperial rulers, the West’s globalists turned Ukraine’s Chief Munchkin into a “freedom fighter” battling the pernicious authoritarianism of Russia’s Vladimir Putin. The same yahoos: Biden, Trudeau, Macron, Queen Ursula, and the rest of the WEF’s rump-kissing claque, who screeched like wounded cockatoos, “Build Back Better,” now all huffed in unison, “Ukraine!  Ukraine!  Ukraine!” It never ceases to amaze me that the day after Canada’s “Freedom Convoy” protests against COVID “vaccine” mandates came to an end, the official launch of the new hit television drama, “WAR: Ukraine,” began. It’s almost as if Western globalists yank us commoners along by the leash from one spectacular production of nonsense to the next (just to see how much money they can steal from our pockets when their hands aren’t busy groping small children).

Some people in the U.S. and Europe were made to really care about a country that has long been considered so incorrigibly corrupt that other corrupt countries can’t help but blush. Lemmings who had been walking around with multiple paper masks over their faces to magically protect themselves from viruses that don’t fear masks all of a sudden waved Ukrainian flags with gusto as if they could identify Dwarf-King Zelenskyy’s money-pit-proto-nation on a map! Nobody wanted to admit that the same übermenschen from sub rosa groups such as Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission — who have made a financial killing from “green energy” and mRNA “vaccines” over the years — had simply returned to their favorite investment of all: actual killing. War brings new taxes, new regulations, new forms of censorship, new military investment, and new ways to exploit asymmetric information for financial gains. In short, wars bring profits! And what better place for corrupt globalists to make tons of money than to take advantage of the corrupt swindlers putatively governing the traveling circus known as Ukraine!

The United Kingdom (still smarting from its misadventures in the Crimean War one hundred and seventy years ago) demanded that Russia hand back Crimea to its MI6-managed Ukrainian friends. Queen Ursula of the pan-European (and increasingly Islamic) empire demanded that Russia respect the right of Europeans to overthrow any Ukrainian governments that Brussels doesn’t like (see the U.S.-E.C.-organized 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine, or what Western propagandists still shamelessly call the “Revolution of Dignity”). BlackRock and other multinational investment firms selflessly volunteered to help finance the war, purchase Ukraine’s assets on the cheap, and invest heavily in the subsequent reconstruction projects of a destroyed nation.  Google and Facebook promised to censor all public debate averse to globalists’ interests as “Russian propaganda.”

Oh my, what a magnificent war!  It has had everything globalists adore! It managed to turn a mad midget who plays piano with his penis into Winston Churchill! It justified blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines and forcing Europe’s peasants into using much more expensive “green energy!” It excused more government money-printing and spending that conveniently inflated the value of assets owned by the 1% of the 1%! It allowed the titular leaders of European nations to strut about on the world stage as if they were courageous military generals rallying troops on the front lines — while really doing nothing but callously dropping vulnerable Ukrainian lads into a meat grinder that has made the rich wealthier and the poor fertilizer. European elites have demonstrated their virtue and bravery one dead Ukrainian at a time. The whole bloody affair has had all the pomp and circumstance of old, flatulent monarchs dining on beans, broccoli, cabbage, and cheese.

European gentry never wanted a real war; one in which they might risk life and limb. They simply wanted a war that would cause their investment portfolios to fatten up while they prattled on about bravery and sacrifice. How do we know? Because the moment that President Trump began incinerating the mad mullahs of Iran, Europe’s globalists tucked tail and ran…or at least hightailed it to the closest water closet for fresh underpants.

After cutting off oil production in the North Sea in the name of “climate change” and banning Russian energy supplies in the name of “democracy,” Europe depends quite a bit on Middle Eastern oil to stave off economic death. However, Europe is also right now transitioning from a Western to an Islamic civilization. Europe’s political elites are so afraid of Islamic immigrants that they would rather permit them to rape their youngest daughters than cause a scene. They certainly can’t be seen going to war against an Islamic country! Wealthy Europeans don’t mind sacrificing the continent’s peasants to mass slaughter, but they have no interest in seeing a scimitar up close themselves. Yes, yes, best to wear the white feather of cowardice as if it were a symbol of European principle. America’s courageous cowboys will surely save Old Europe from itself!

Except…maybe not this time. President Trump is not happy that our so-called NATO “allies” have refused to support America’s mission in Iran. U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer says, “This is not our war.  We will not be drawn into the conflict.”  Starmer wants to decouple from the U.S. and rejoin the E.U. France, Spain, Italy, and the U.K. have now denied the U.S. military permission to use European bases or airspace. Europe’s NATO members collectively insist that Iran is not NATO’s concern.

To which President Trump has appropriately pointed out that Ukraine is not a NATO member and therefore not America’s concern. Both the president and Secretary of State Rubio believe if European members of NATO cannot be persuaded to protect their own economic interests in the Strait of Hormuz, then it is time for the U.S. to reconsider its NATO commitments to European security. “Allies” in name only aren’t really allies at all. For those of us tired of Europe’s crusty aristocracy leeching off of American military muscle while habitually grousing, the possibility of cutting off the Old World’s freeloaders is pleasant news. Americans shouldn’t fight for a continent that has no interest in defending itself. ✪

DON SURBER: REAL TECHNOLOGY YIELDS PEACE & THE MOON

eee

n Wednesday, the United States launched the first manned mission to the moon in nearly 54 years. Artemis II will not land on the moon but soon, very soon, the late Eugene Cernan no longer will be the last man on the moon. The project began early in Donald John Trump’s first presidency.

NASA no longer is in a space race with the Soviet Union but in a friendly competition with private enterprise. Who will make it to Mars first—NASA or Elon Musk? Hint: Maybe the one who had to rescue the other one’s stranded astronauts.

This arrangement makes sense because that is how Europe discovered America. Half a millennium ago, European kings and queens hired private ship crews to sail the world and explore the next-to-final frontier.

They found a new world of two large continents populated by backward savages who were horseless, having eaten them to extinction 10,000 years earlier. Yes, civilizations are not equal. While Montezuma was going wild with ritual human sacrifice, Europeans devised a method to travel the ocean blue with zero carbon impact. They called it sailing.

Using that technology requires leadership. Queen Isabella backed Christopher Columbus’s voyage. The opening of The 6 Million Dollar Man—a TV show from 50 years ago—said it best:

“Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world’s first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better… stronger… faster.”

We lost our way. The Soviet Union already junked its plans to land on the moon upon Khrushchev’s departure as leader. America bought into that low-IQ argument that we should fix the problems on Earth first before wasting it on space.

Our national debt was $427 billion when Cernan left the moon. It is 85 times larger today. We went from a debt equal to 33% of the GDP to 123%.

Our cities are in shambles, our schools are worthless, we’ve imported 20 million to 50 million terrorists, drug dealers and welfare leeches from other countries and we are butchering our children in the name of transgendering. Going back to space is the right call.

On Wednesday night, President Donald John Trump declared victory in Operation Epic Fury. He told the nation:

In these past four weeks, our armed forces have delivered swift, decisive, overwhelming victories on the battlefield, victories like few people have ever seen before. Tonight, Iran’s Navy is gone, their Air Force is in ruins. Their leaders, most of them terrorists, regime they led are now dead. Their command and control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being decimated as we speak.

Their ability to launch missiles and drones is dramatically curtailed, and their weapons factories and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces, very few of them left. Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating large-scale losses in a matter of weeks. Our enemies are losing and America, as it has been for five years under my presidency, is winning and now winning bigger than ever before.

He also laid out well why we went in::

This fanatical regime has been chanting Death to America, Death to Israel for 47 years. Their proxies were behind the murder of 241 Americans in the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, the slaughter of hundreds of our service members with roadside bombs. They were involved in the attack on the USS Cole, and they carried out the countless other heinous acts, including the blood — just horrible, bloody atrocities of October 7th in Israel.

Something that most people have never seen anything like it. This murderous regime also recently killed 45,000 of their own people who were protesting in Iran, 45,000 dead. For these terrorists to have nuclear weapons would be an intolerable threat. The most violent and thuggish regime on earth would be free to carry out their campaigns of terror, coercion, conquest, and mass murder from behind a nuclear shield.

I will never let that happen and neither should any of our past presidents. This situation has been going on for 47 years and should have been handled long before I arrived in office. I did many things during my two terms in office to stop the quest for nuclear weapons by Iran first, and perhaps most importantly, I killed General Qassem Soleimani in my first term.

He was an evil genius, brilliant person, a horrible human being, however, the father of the roadside bomb. And he lived — just horrible, what he did/ Iran would have been perhaps in a far better, stronger position. Had he lived we would have had probably a different conversation tonight. But you know what?

We’d still be winning and winning big. And then, very importantly, I terminated Barack Hussein Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, a disaster. Obama gave them $1.7 billion in cash—green, green cash, took it out of banks from Virginia, DC and Maryland, all the cash they had, flew it by airplanes in an attempt to buy their respect and loyalty but it didn’t work.

Of course, he’s being kind because Obama funded terrorism with his eyes wide open.

As Trump pointed out:

“ It’s very important that we keep this conflict in perspective. American involvement in World War I lasted one year, seven months and five days. World war II lasted for three years, eight months, and 25 days.

The Korean War lasted for three years, one month and two days. The Vietnam War lasted for 19 years, five months and 29 days. Iraq went on for eight years, eight months and 28 days. We are in this military operation so powerful, so brilliant against one of the most powerful countries for 32 days, and the country has been eviscerated and, essentially, is really no longer a threat.

Our military accomplished the devastation of Iran’s military without killing millions of Iranians. That is incredible and under appreciated.

Trump’s refusal to re-open the Strait of Hormuz was a diplomatic way of telling our frenemies in NATO to put up or shut up.

Europe will do neither. Keir Starmer will hold meetings to get Iran to open the strait. He said, “The UK will convene 35 countries—excluding the US—to explore ways to reopen the strait of Hormuz, the vital shipping route for oil and gas that has been blocked by Iran.”

In short, they will pay the troll, just as these same Europeans paid tribute to the Barbary Coast pirates.

That ended 200 years ago when Thomas Jefferson sent Presley O’Bannon and Stephen Decatur in to Tripoli. Billions for defense, not one cent tribute.

For a long time, we have had the technology to fly to the moon and to defeat the military of a nation of 92 million people in a country twice the size of France and Germany. Now we have the capable leader to put the technology to work and we are doing both. ✪

▶️ PRESIDENT TRUMP LAYS OUT HIS IRANIAN WAR ENDGAME

PRESIDENT TRUMP LAYS OUT HIS IRANIAN WAR ENDGAME

wwww

omehow, I received an invitation to the White House to watch President Trump’s prime-time address to the nation on Wednesday evening, where he laid out his endgame strategy for the Iran War. In addition to observing the strong camaraderie between Trump’s cabinet members, I saw the president in great form, confidently articulating the war’s goals and achievements and how he is keeping his promise to the American people to end this conflict in a few weeks so it does not become a quagmire or an endless war.

The president spoke about the overwhelming strength of the American military and how the war is a decisive and historic U.S. victory. Just one month after launching Operation Epic Fury, Trump explained how the U.S. and Israel shattered Iran’s nuclear weapons program, crippled its war machine, and stripped the mullahs of their ability to bully the Middle East and the world.

President Trump spoke about how Operation Epic Fury devastated Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, ballistic missile programs, air defenses, navy, and command structure. Key nuclear facilities have been reduced to rubble. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps terror networks and proxy armies have been decimated. So has Iran’s ability to project power across the Middle East or threaten our allies with drones and missiles.

As Trump explained, Iran is no longer a global bully capable of developing nuclear weapons. The regime that spent decades chanting “Death to America” while funding Hamas, Hezbollah, and attacks on U.S. troops has been neutered.

Trump said America’s war objectives; destroying the missile arsenal, annihilating the navy, severing proxy support, and guaranteeing Iran never goes nuclear, are nearly complete. Only two to three weeks of focused, high-intensity air strikes are needed to finish the job. President Trump emphasized how much our military accomplished in only 32 days and compared the Iran War with numerous other wars which lasted years.

President Trump also discussed the fate of Iran’s stockpile of near-weapons-grade enriched uranium, enough reportedly to fuel 9 to 11 nuclear weapons if further processed. Some experts have called for the President to send U.S. Special Forces into Iran to recover this nuclear material, which is believed to be buried under Iran’s Isfahan nuclear facility.

I expressed my strong opposition to this idea in a March 13, 2026,  because this nuclear material is probably destroyed, scattered, and entombed beneath massive debris; and would not be readily usable for weapons without extensive additional processing that Iran no longer has the capacity to perform.

I was glad to hear Trump make clear that the U.S. is handling this enriched uranium stockpile through continued airstrikes rather than risky ground operations. He said, “The nuclear sites that we obliterated with the B-2 bombers have been hit so hard that it would take months to get near the nuclear dust.” He added that these sites will remain under intense satellite surveillance and “if we see them make a move, even a move for it, we’ll hit them with missiles very hard again.”

This is an excellent approach that fully addresses the remote threat from this nuclear material without putting U.S. troops at unacceptable and unnecessary risk.

President Trump also said that as America winds down Operation Epic Fury, Iran’s remaining leaders have some important decisions to make. He issued an ultimatum: either Iran agrees to a comprehensive peace deal, reopens the Strait of Hormuz, and abandons its aggression, or the U.S. will destroy its electricity grid and possibly its oil facilities. Trump made it clear: if Iran’s leaders refuse to come to the table, the U.S. will target these critical assets to ensure that the regime can no longer fund terror or threaten global and regional security.

The President also delivered sharp criticism of Europe and NATO allies for failing to contribute to a conflict that directly impacts their own security and energy supplies. He accused them of “sitting on the sidelines while America did the heavy lifting” and called out their hypocrisy, noting that they had talked tough about containing Iran for decades but left the real work to the United States once again. While he stopped short of threatening a U.S. withdrawal from NATO, this lack of support could damage the alliance for years.

Trump concluded by declaring that Operation Epic Fury ranks among the most successful military campaigns in American history; precise, overwhelming, and on track for a major victory in just two to three weeks. It was classic Trump: no rigid deadlines, a firm ultimatum to the enemy, and an America First approach to protect U.S. security interests while keeping our troops out of an endless war.

Most importantly, President Trump stressed that the short-term economic costs of Operation Epic Fury are worth it because dealing with the global threat from Iran’s Islamist terrorist regime is an investment for our children’s and grandchildren’s future. Instead of kicking the Iran problem down the road to the next president, Trump is dealing with it now.

Trump’s Iran strategy aims for swift, decisive victory; crushing nuclear ambitions and ending the war in weeks, not years, without risking American boots on the ground. That’s the kind of decisive leadership America voted for. ✪

▶️ SUSTAINABILITY IS COMING TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU

SUSTAINABILITY IS COMING TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU

aaa

f the Greenies get their way, we will finally know what it is to live like a third world native being lectured to by some World Bank official on the virtues of sustainability. One does not have to strain to imagine a future power grid as the Greenies envision. There are plenty of examples of it today. In fact, go to any third-world country, venture outside the perimeter of your five-star resort, and you will probably encounter one.

The developing world is littered with them; grids which cannot be relied upon to deliver 24/7 power. In fact, one marker of a third world country is the unreliable nature of its power grid. The natives adapt to it because they have little choice. They shift their work schedule to accommodate blackouts or pitch in with others to buy a backup diesel generator and keep it stocked with fuel, if they can afford it.

True story: A friend of mine was recently having dinner in a restaurant in Antananarivo (travelers call it “Tana” for short), the capital of Madagascar, and the power suddenly went off without warning. None of the locals seemed surprised and the restaurant proprietor just brought out a few extra candles and everyone continued with their meal. In Madagascar, as in other parts of the developing world, it is routine for power to go off unplanned for several hours, sometimes taking days to return. Just imagine trying to run an auto repair shop, seamstress shop, or local market under those conditions. People tolerate it, but it takes a toll on their patience and has an impact on their productivity.

The World Bank used to finance projects which improved the reliability of power generation in developing countries but lately, its interest has turned toward sustainability, which means forcing renewables upon the locals as a substitute for more reliable thermal power plants. One can just imagine the outcome of integrating intermittent power sources within a system that is already fragile and poorly maintained. It does not improve the situation, to say the least. This is what happens when World Bank experts parachute into a third world country, lecture the local elites about the virtues of Net Zero, and catch the first flight back to the security of their home in Geneva, Switzerland. They don’t stick around long enough to comprehend that what they have imposed on the local population, does not work well.

Here in the USA, the Greenies are lecturing us about the importance of replacing our gas furnaces with electric heat pumps and our cars with EVs, making us totally dependent on a power grid, which they then will strip of firm thermal power capacity. Then grid reliability will go from 99.995% to zero, and we will be sitting in the dark like the rest of the third world natives. No problem though. We are resourceful and inventive and will purchase a backup generator, but the Greenies won’t let us install one. Instead, we must load up on Tesla power packs to handle all contingencies. However, when the power packs catch fire and the local firefighters won’t get near to it, we finally know what it is like to be a native in Madagascar being lectured to by some World Bank official on the virtues of sustainability. ✪

US PRODUCING MORE OIL & GAS THAN MIDDLE EAST & RUSSIA

kkk

resident Donald Trump announced that the United States is producing “more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined” during his Wednesday night address to the nation on the Iran War.

▶️ 2 Minutes 13 Seconds

“Because of our ‘Drill Baby Drill’ program, America has plenty of gas. Under my leadership, we are the number one producer of oil and gas on the planet — without even discussing the millions of barrels that we’re getting from Venezuela. Because of the Trump Administration’s policies, we produce more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined. There’s no country like us anywhere in the world, and we’re in great shape for the future.”

Trump went on to say “the United States now imports almost no oil” through the Strait of Hormuz, “and won’t be taking any in the future.”

“We don’t need it. We haven’t needed it. We’ve beaten and completely decimated Iran. They are decimated, both militarily and economically. And the countries of the world that do receive oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care of that passage. They should take the lead in protecting the oil that they so desperately depend on.”

President Trump then addressed the “countries that can’t get fuel, many of which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran,” and offered them two suggestions.

“Number one: buy oil from the United States of America. We have plenty. And number two, build up some delayed courage & go to the Strait and just take it.”

President Trump then reiterated, “Iran has been essentially decimated,” explainin:,

“The hard part is done, so it should be easy. In any event, when this conflict is over, the Strait will open up naturally. They’re going to want to be able to sell oil because that’s all they have to try and rebuild. It will resume the flowing, and the gas prices will rapidly come back down.”

Speaking directly to Americans who have seen a “recent rise” in gas prices in the U.S., Trump explained, “This short-term increase has been entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching deranged terror attacks against commercial oil tankers in neighboring countries that have nothing to do with the conflict.”

“This is proof that Iran can never be trusted with nuclear weapons,” Trump asserted. ✪

▶️ SPRINGSTEEN TURNS CONCERT INTO A THREE HOUR TDS RANT

SPRINGSTEEN TURNS CONCERT INTO A THREE HOUR TDS RANT

ormer rock star Bruce Springsteen turned a sold out rock concert in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into a three-hour political TDS lecture. What’s most striking about these quotes is not how they are divisive and dishonest (although they are that), but how it’s all platitudes, empty slogans, and thoughtless talking points:

We are living through some very dark times. Our American values that have sustained us for 250 years are being challenged as never before. We’ve got our young men and women’s lives at risk in an unconstitutional and illegal war.

We are here in celebration and defense of our American ideals. Democracy, our Constitution and our sacred American promise, the America that I love, the America that I’ve written about for 50 years, that’s been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous administration.

The richest men in America have abandoned the world’s poorest children through death and disease, through their dismantling of U.S. aid. We are abandoning NATO and the world order that’s kept us safe and at global peace for 80 years.

Our museums are being told to whitewash American history of any unpleasant or inconvenient facts like the full history of the brutality of slavery. You want to talk about snowflakes? We have a president who can’t handle the truth.

While working Americans struggle, our president and his family enrich themselves by billions of dollars training on the people’s office in corruption unmatched in American history.

To many, we are no longer looked upon as an often imperfect but strong defender of democracy standing for the global good, we are no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave.

We are now, to many, America the reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation. That is this administration’s and this president’s legacy.

So many of our elected leaders have failed us that this American tragedy can only be stopped by the American people. So join us and let’s fight for the America that we love.

And on and on and on he went like this, like your lesbian aunt who shows up uninvited at a family wedding, for three freaken hours.

Springsteen intends to do this through May 27 on this 20-stop anti-Trump tour. It’s all so cynical.

Here’s a guy who betrayed his working class fans to become an elitist, who saw his movie rejected by the public at the box office, so this is all the 76-year-old billionaire has left to feel relevant and get even richer: charge empty-headed leftists hundreds of dollars for tickets to a show where he shouts out applause lines for three hours, where he affirms them for three hours by saying… nothing.

Never in a million years did I expect an artist of Springsteen’s caliber to become this kind of a punchline and parody of himself. Throughout his career, his music and concert monologues were universal in their approach and appeal. Of course, he was political, but he was always thoughtful in the way he expressed himself and never divisive.

Today, he’s running around on stage ranting against President Trump with name-calling and insults and, “Let’s fight for the America that we love!”

What a pathetic clown. ✪

s the Democrat Party faces internal primary contests, several of its lawmakers have begun to distance themselves from the Laken Riley Act; a law championed by President Donald J. Trump that mandates the detention of non-citizens arrested for various crimes committed within the United States.

The Act was passed with some Democrat support in late January 2025, following the murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old university student from the state of Georgia, by Venezuelan illegal immigrant José Antonio Ibarra. At the time of the murder, he was at large despite having previously been charged with “acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.”

Representative Angie Craig of Minnesota, facing criticism from a progressive opponent in the race for the Democrat Senate nomination in Minnesota, said of her prior support for the Act, “I regret my vote.” Joining Craig in retracting support are Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), Rep. April McClain Delaney (D-MD), and Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-CT), all of whom have faced increasing pressure from far leftist factions within their party.

Ibarra was convicted of both felony and malicious murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated battery and aggravated assault with intent to rape, false imprisonment, hindering an emergency phone call, concealing the death of another person, and criminal invasion of privacy. ✪

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently learned of the intercepts and has asked the U.S. Agency for International Development officials to scour for records to see if the plot actually was carried out and whether a criminal referral should be made to the FBI.

Gabbard’s team has not found substantive evidence the intercepted allegations were thoroughly investigated during the Biden Administration; and the communications are not believed to be tied to Russian disinformation efforts, officials said.

Memo Alleges USAID Used To Route Money

The declassified report is a summary of raw intercepts from U.S. spy agencies in late 2022 concerning the alleged plot, and officials who have reviewed the files said there seemed to be a lack of curiosity to investigate such an explosive allegation of foreign interference in a U.S. election. The declassified summary of the intercepts state:

“The Ukrainian Government and unspecified U.S. Government personnel, through USAID in Kyiv, reportedly developed a plan that would provide hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund an infrastructure project for Ukraine that would be used as a cover to send approximately 90% of funds allocated to the DNC to fund Joe Biden’s reelection campaign. They were confident the project would be funded initially, even though at some time in the future the project would be disapproved as unnecessary.  At this time, the money would already be allocated and impossible to return or use for a different purpose.”

The intercepts mention two American subcontractors as possible recipients of the money which would eventually be transferred to Democrat coffers, officials said. The names are included in still classified raw spy data but were redacted from the declassified report:

“The plan included details of how subcontractors would be funded through U.S. companies so that how the funds were spent and allocated would be difficult to track. Additionally, contracts would be executed that would be difficult to verify. In this manner, most of the U.S. funding would be diverted to Joe Biden’s election campaign without the ability to track where exactly the funds came from.”

The discovery of alleged 2022 efforts by Ukraine to help Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign comes at a sensitive time for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has been working closely with President Donald Trump’s envoys to craft a peace plan to end the four-year war started by Russian aggression in 2022 during the Biden Administration.

Corruption Allegations In Ukraine Are A Recurring Theme

While winning praise from the Trump Administration for making concessions, Zelenskyy’s Administration has still been dogged by new allegations of corruption. Andriy Yermark, the now-former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and a longtime close Zelenskyy ally, resigned from his position in late November following searches of his home by two Ukrainian agencies — the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).

“NABU and SAPO are conducting investigative actions (searches) at the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. Investigative actions are sanctioned and are being carried out as part of the investigation,” NABU said in a late November statement on X, with SAPO issuing a similar statement the same day.

The two Ukrainian agencies had announced earlier in November that a “high-level criminal organization operating in [the] energy sector” had been “exposed” as part of “Operation Midas.”

Yermak said in late November “the investigators have no obstacles” during their search of his home and that “from my side, there is full cooperation.”

“When all attention is focused on diplomacy and on defending ourselves in this war, we need internal strength. Internal strength is the foundation of our external unity and of our relations with the world,” Zelenskyy said in a national address announcing Yermak’s resignation late last year. “And for that internal strength to exist, there must be no reason to get distracted by anything other than defending Ukraine. I want no one to have any questions for Ukraine.”

The Ukrainian President added:

“So today, these are the next internal decisions. First. There will be a reset of the Office of the President of Ukraine. The Head of the Office, Andriy Yermak, has submitted his resignation. I am grateful to Andriy for always representing Ukraine’s position on the negotiation track exactly as it should be represented. It has always been a patriotic position. But I want to eliminate any rumors and speculation.”

In addition, sources close to Zelenskyy have floated the idea of assisting the Trump DOJ in its investigation of earlier efforts by a Ukrainian oligarch named Mykola Zlochevsky to curry favor with the Biden family by hiring Hunter Biden as a board member and legal advisor at the Burisma Holdings energy company beginning in 2014, officials told Just the News. The assistance offered by Zelenskyy reportedly included arranging cooperation with certain Ukrainian witnesses who could assist U.S. authorities in resolving unanswered questions regarding the Biden family’s foreign corruption dealings.

President Joe Biden had long pledged that he would not pardon his son, Hunter, who was set to be sentenced for gun and tax convictions. However, in December of 2024, the president did it anyway. Biden didn’t just pardon his son for his convictions on tax and gun charges, but for any “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024.”

Burisma became a hot-button issue when President Trump referenced it in a July 2019 call with Zelenskyy. The call spurred a whistleblower complaint by Eric Ciaramella (also involving Alexander and Eugene Vindman) which sparked Democrat-led impeachment proceedings in the House in 2019. Trump was acquitted by the Senate in early 2020.

Trump and his Republican allies claimed Joe Biden improperly used his position as vice president to successfully pressure Ukraine to fire Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin to protect his son from an investigation into Burisma. Democrats denied this and argued the focus on Burisma was part of an effort to dirty up then-candidate Biden.

Hunter Biden said in 2019 he spoke with his father about his position on the Burisma board just once, saying his father told him, “I hope you know what you are doing.” Hunter Biden says he replied, “I do.

Joe Biden’s son was asked if he would have been asked to be on the Burisma board if his last name was Biden. “Probably not, in retrospect,” he said. “But that’s — you know — I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn’t Biden.”

Hunter Biden, Devon Archer & Burisma: Millions Of Dollars

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., released a joint report in 2020, with much of its focus on then-Vice President Biden’s role in helping guide the Obama Administration’s Ukraine policy while Hunter Biden held a lucrative position on the board of Burisma.

“On April 16, 2014, Vice President Biden met with his son’s business partner, Devon Archer, at the White House. Five days later, Vice President Biden visited Ukraine, and he soon after was described in the press as the ‘public face of the administration’s handling of Ukraine.’ The day after his visit, on April 22, Archer joined the board of Burisma,” Grassley and Johnson wrote. “Six days later, on April 28, British officials seized $23 million from the London bank accounts of Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Fourteen days later, on May 12, Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma, and over the course of the next several years, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were paid millions of dollars from a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch for their participation on the board.”

In his 2021 memoir, Hunter Biden defended Zlochevsky, claiming the Ukrainian “was concerned with protecting his company from Vladimir Putin’s advances” and “wanted to lure more U.S. and European investors” — claiming that was why he was hired. Hunter Biden called the Burisma work “inspiring” and “consequential” while also admitting that “the pay was good” and “there’s no question my last name was a coveted credential.”

Grassley in 2023 released an FBI-generated record — known as an FD-1023 — dated June 2020 and detailing allegations made by an FBI confidential human source (CHS) about Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and Zlochevsky.

The CHS — later revealed to be Alexander Smirnov — said Zlochevsky brought Hunter Biden onto the Burisma board to “protect us through his dad, from all kinds of problems.” Regarding the Shokin investigation’s possible impact on Burisma’s ambitions in North America, Zlochevsky reportedly said, “Don’t worry Hunter will take care of all of those issues through his dad.”

Grassley recounted that “Zlochevsky reportedly stated that he had to pay $5 million to Hunter Biden and $5 million to Joe Biden, an arrangement he described as ‘poluchili,’ which is Russian crime slang for being ‘forced or coerced to pay,’ according to the document.”

The Biden DOJ charged Smirnov in February 2024 with making a false statement to Federal agents and with creating a false and fictitious record. Smirnov pleaded guilty to four felony counts in December 2024, “including creating a false and fictitious record and three counts of tax evasion.”

The Trump DOJ in April 2025 told a Federal judge “the United States intends to review the government’s theory of the case underlying Defendant’s criminal conviction.”

UK PRIME MINISTER KEIR STARMER DELIVERS NATIONALADDRESS

gainst the backdrop of the Iran conflict, crisis in the Middle East and the disruption of energy supplies due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, U.K Prime Minister Keir Starmer held an urgent meeting with British business leaders, finance and bankers as well as U.K insurance leaders.  At the conclusion of that meeting, he informed media he was going to deliver a national address.

During that national address to the people of Great Britain, Prime Minister Starmer emphasized that events in the Middle East have forever changed the landscape of U.K. economic and geopolitical policy.  Signaling an inflection point was crossed,;the British Prime Minister announced urgent actions would being taken to mitigate a national crisis.

Additionally, accepting the U.S. position toward NATO, and the U.K appears to be permanently shifted, Starmer said the British relationship with Europe now becomes critical to their vital national security interests. Against the backdrop of an end to the “special relationship” with America, the Brexit independence from the European Union is now a threat:

Starmer emphasized the United Kingdom must find a way to reunite with the European Union; because if it remains alone, without key support and protection from the USA, the British Empire is at risk of total collapse. ✪

A VICIOUS OPERATOR NEEDS TO BRING JUSTICE BACK TO THE DOJ

am Bondi was President Donald Trump’s second choice for attorney general, and she never quite fit. Bondi often looked uncomfortable in the top prosecutor role; fumbling her way through and failing to meet the demands of a Department of Justice with a mandate to bring the criminals in the corrupt Biden Administration to account.

The frustration from the MAGA Movement has been mounting for many months. The President’s patience had worn threadbare with an attorney general who — for many reasons — never did deliver on one of Trump’s biggest campaign promises: justice for the people caught in the crosshairs of the left’s political lawfare campaign.

So the President gave Bondi the “Great American” sendoff on his Truth Social platform Thursday and sent his second choice AG packing.

“Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year,” Trump wrote Thursday, saluting Bondi for the DOJ’s work in bringing the nation’s murder rate to the lowest level in 125 years.

Maybe Bondi was stuck in an untenable position for what the job entailed, but her biggest problem, one government watchdog says, was her inability to run a tenacious prosecution operation that would send a clear message to the leftist lawfare crowd. Of course, she did herself no favors with the Epstein Files mess.

“I’m not saying Bondi didn’t want to do that, but it certainly didn’t happen,” Mike Howell, president of the Oversight Project, said Thursday afternoon in an interview on the Vicki McKenna Show. The conservative organization investigates and litigates to expose and root out corruption in government,

“Look, she got subbed in after Matt Gaetz went down and I think there was an understanding that she really wasn’t that type of lawyer or operator but she would have a cast surrounding her [so she could] be a spokesperson for the agency,” Howell said. “But over time it just became clear that there weren’t enough people who were actually committed to doing the mission and that was borne out by the lack of results.”

Gaetz, a former Republican congressman, withdrew from consideration amid a buzzsaw confirmation process:

✪ Shout From The Mountaintops

Corrupt corporate media outlets framed Bondi as another victim of Trump’s vendettas against his political enemies. Missing from their narrative, per usual, is the fact that many of Trump’s political enemies bludgeoned the Constitution in their soft coup to cripple the president’s first term, and to do all in their power to make sure he wouldn’t win a second. They failed miserably. Trump and the Americans who voted for his return to the White House won the right to the records. And thousands of documents made public thus far have exposed Democrats and deep staters as defilers of the rule of law and the will of the people.

The frustrations of the president and those who watched the left’s sustained lawfare campaign have only grown with the DOJ’s failure to act on the damning documents and testimony of whistleblowers. Bondi, and the attorneys surrounding her, have been loathe to move swiftly, if at all.

Howell said the real victories have been few. “In place of actual actions you have been celebrations that I think are unwarranted. Like if you look at the FBI, it’s been all ‘Mission Accomplished’ over there and the claim that it’s been rebuilt from the ground up, but that’s just not true whatsoever,” he said.

Bondi critics charge there has been too much deference paid to the old guard at the FBI and the Justice Department. The Oversight Project has been a lead investigator in the autopen scandal of the Biden years. Much evidence suggests President Joe Biden’s inner circle signed off on a glut of clemency orders — more than 4,200, smashing previous records for presidential pardons, commutations and remissions and respites. Biden’s acts of clemency covered members of his corrupt family, government crushers of individual liberties, and some very violent criminals.

The get-out-of-jail-free card winners included a career criminal “who admitted to killing someone on camera and has a long rap sheet of violent crimes.” according to the Oversight Project. Howell and his team urged Bondi and the DOJ to stop the release of the “illegitimate” clemency orders through a disqualifying use of the autopen.

“There are a lot of violent criminals whose sentences were shortened by the autopen that this DOJ continues to release,” Howell said. “It’s been happening like clockwork and we’ve been shouting from the mountains tops.”

Bondi released a statement Thursday pledging to “work tirelessly” to transition control of the AG’s office to her Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, whom Trump tapped as interim AG for the time being. She said she’s moving to “an important private sector role” where she will “continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration.”

“Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history,” Bondi wrote on X.

Her conservative critics disagree. Democrats said “good riddance,” with a straight face accusing Bondi of leading a corrupt department while they shrugged off the cesspool of corruption at Merrick Garland’s DOJ.

✪ ‘De-Weaponize’ The Government

Speculation on who will ultimately replace Bondi was running rampant Thursday. Blanche appears to be a leading candidate, although his conservative credentials have come under scrutiny. Fox News reported  Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin is in line for the post.  Howell said the next AG must be run by a “vicious operator” if there is any hope for justice and accountability.

“You need somebody who is not going to care what the liberal press thinks of them, what the rank and file of these departments and angencies will think of them, and how they’ll be framed as an institutionalist,” he said. “No, you need someone who is there primarily to get the job done and roll up their sleeves.” A guy like Gaetz, who approaches his job with a “burn the ships” mentality, Howell said.

Or perhaps an attorney like Jeff Clark, a former legal warrior in the Trump Administrations who has been raked over the coals in the left’s ceaseless lawfare campaign against Trump’s allies. Clark recently joined the Oversight Project as vice president of the nonprofit’s litigation team. His mission: to “de-weaponize” government.

“We like Jeff a lot and we’re happy he’s here, so I won’t be heartbroken if he stays here. But that is exactly the type of person we put in charge of our legal efforts and I would do the same if I were president of the United States,” Howell said. ✪
