VDH: ARE AMERICANS BETTER OR WORSE OFF SINCE JANUARY?

eee
hile the media fixates on Trump’s tweets, the numbers tell a different story; closed borders, lower inflation, revived energy, and restored U.S. strength at home and abroad. The left wing and media rage hysterically from one Trump psychodrama to the next, while Trump trolls both on social media.
However, all that is verbiage. What matters is the data and facts of Trump’s first nine months since January 20, 2025, in comparison to either Biden’s prior year or the averages of his four years in office.
Take the border. No one knows how many illegal aliens entered, or stayed in, the U.S. during Biden’s four years of open borders. What is clear is that he set a presidential record of well over seven million illegal entrants.
The border under Trump is now tightly closed. Prior to his administration, it was common for 10,000 people to cross illegally in a single day. In just nine months, approximately two million illegal aliens have been deported or self-deported. The rate of border crossings is now the lowest it’s ever been since 1970.
How about energy? For Trump’s first nine months, gas prices have averaged $3.19 versus Biden’s 2024 average of $3.30 a gallon. Over Biden’s four years, gas averaged $3.46 a gallon.
During the Biden years, oil production averaged 12.3 million barrels per day, compared to 13.5 million barrels during Trump’s first nine months. Biden removed 200 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, leaving office with only 394 million barrels in the SPR.
The reserve has already inched upward under Trump’s initial months to 406 million barrels. Releases have been cancelled. Purchases of replacement oil have been scheduled.
Regarding the economy, Biden’s four years averaged 2.9 percent GDP growth per annum. Trump’s GDP rose 3.8 percent in the second quarter, with final estimates for 2025 ranging around 3 percent.
Inflation under Trump so far averages about 3 percent. Under Biden’s tenure, inflation increased by 21.4 percent over four years, or on average about 5.3 percent a year.
How about U.S. deterrence and defense? Under Biden, the military fell short by approximately 15,000 recruits per year, crashing to a shortfall of 41,000 in 2023. Following Trump’s election and throughout the first nine months of 2025, all branches of the military met or exceeded their recruitment goals.
The number of NATO nations meeting their promise to spend 2 percent of GDP on defense rose from 23 in 2024 to a likely total of 31 in 2025, with several pledging to spend as much as 5 percent.
Trump left office in 2021 with no major ongoing wars. His first administration had nearly bankrupted Iran, destroyed ISIS, decimated the Russian Wagner Group in Syria, and birthed the Abraham Accords. Under Biden, the Middle East exploded into a four-front war against Israel.
Iran boasted that it was within months of developing nuclear weapons after the Biden Administration lifted prior Trump sanctions and courted Tehran to return to the so-called “Iran Deal.”
Over the last decade and a half, Vladimir Putin had only kept within his borders during Trump’s first term, invading neighboring countries during the Bush, Obama, and Biden presidencies.
In 2022, Putin attacked Kyiv during Biden’s second year in office; leading to a full-scale Ukrainian-Russian war, incurring the greatest combat losses in Europe since the Second World War.
In August 2021, in one of the greatest military humiliations in U.S. history, Biden ordered the abrupt flight of all U.S. personnel from Kabul, Afghanistan. The skedaddle resulted in utter chaos, the deaths of 13 Marines, and destroyed U.S. deterrence. Thousands of U.S. contractors and employees were left behind, and the administration abandoned billions of dollars of new weapons and military equipment to the terrorist Taliban.
In contrast, there is now a tentative calm across the Middle East. After Trump’s bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities, the theocracy is not expected to be able to acquire a nuclear weapon for years. Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis are decimated and increasingly impotent.
No wars broke out during Trump’s current year. Tentative Trump-inspired ceasefires helped stop violence between India and Pakistan, Cambodia and Thailand, Egypt and Ethiopia, Serbia and Kosovo, and Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Trump’s tariffs so far have not caused, as critics predicted, a recession or stock collapse. Instead, the stock market has reached new all-time record highs.
Trillions of dollars in promised foreign investments in the U.S. have set a record. And China, for the first time in 50 years, is facing an American-led global pushback against its exploitative, mercantilist trade policies.
The left is outraged about many of Trump’s executive orders. But the public largely supports destroying the cartels’ seaborne drug shipments bound for the U.S. Polls show majorities favor banning transgender males from female sports, ending DEI racialist fixations, and enacting long-overdue higher education reforms.
Yet the daily news is about politicians’ f-bombs, government shutdowns, Trump’s social media trolling, and street violence. But the facts tell a different story of national recovery from the self-inflicted disasters of the recent past. ✪

JB SHURK: DEMOCRATS MUST BE PUNISHED FOR THEIR LAWFARE

lll
he Democrat party is the undisputed champion of lawfare; the corrupt practice of using the legal system to persecute perceived political enemies and deprive non-Democrats of their constitutional rights. Donald Trump had a clean criminal record for the first seventy years of his life. After he became the Republican standard-bearer, dirty Democrat lawyers unleashed an avalanche of meritless criminal investigations, prosecutions, and civil suits that have continued to this day.
Democrat FBI agents and DOJ attorneys tried to frame him as a Russian spy. Democrat spies hiding within the national security community worked to get him impeached. Democrat judges permitted Democrat federal agents to raid the president’s private residence and rummage through the first lady’s underwear drawer. Democrat legislators rewrote civil statutes with the specific intent to target Trump as a defendant. Democrat attorneys general twisted statutory language to “get Trump” and bankrupt his family.
Democrat prosecutors tried to put President Trump in prison for pursuing lawful remedies to the fraudulent, mail-in-ballot-tainted 2020 “election.” Democrat prosecutors tried to put him in prison for a nonexistent campaign finance violation. Democrat prosecutors tried to put him in prison for possessing exculpatory documents that expose the Russia Collusion Hoax for the crime that it is. Democrat prosecutors tried to put an American president in prison for the rest of his life under the delusional legal fantasy that the commander in chief had engaged in an “insurrection” against his own government.
Along the way, anybody within Trump’s orbit; both well known associates and unknown, random Americans, became a target for Democrat agents, prosecutors, and judges to harass. In an effort to prop up the fraudulent Russia Collusion Hoax, Democrat prosecutors put President Trump’s campaign chair, Paul Manafort, in prison and attempted to do the same to his national security adviser, Michael Flynn. In an effort to scare potential witnesses, heavily armed agents arrested Trump’s political adviser, Roger Stone, in a predawn raid. In an effort to suborn false testimony that might implicate Trump in the fraudulent Russia Collusion Hoax, Democrat agents and prosecutors intimidated ancillary campaign workers, such as George Papadopoulos. Time and again, Democrat agents humiliated Trump associates by publicly arresting them, placing them in handcuffs and leg irons, parading them before corporate news cameras for unnecessary “perp walks,” and strip-searching them while in custody.
Democrat lawyers have prosecuted and sought to disbar (successfully in some instances) numerous attorneys representing President Trump; including Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman, and Sidney Powell. Democrats in the DOJ prosecuted and imprisoned Trump’s political strategist, Steve Bannon, and his senior economic counselor, Peter Navarro, for contempt of Congress; even though the DOJ has regularly declined to pursue similar charges against Democrats, including Barack Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder.
These are just a handful of the better known individuals who have been unjustly targeted and prosecuted because of their connection to Donald Trump. In addition to them, thousands of ordinary Americans have been similarly harassed and unjustly prosecuted for identifying as a Trump-supporter and “Make America Great Again” voter.
Democrats in the FBI and DOJ bragged about hunting down Trump-supporters who attended the January 6, 2021 Capitol protest against the mail-in-ballot-rigged 2020 “election.” Whereas the whole Washington Establishment; including elected officials, judges, bureaucrats, and corporate news propagandists, immediately labeled the three-hour Capitol trespass an “insurrection,” it is important to remember that the vast majority of Americans who were present that day remained outside or walked through open doors, strolled calmly down hallways, and caused no damage of any kind. In a country known for its Second Amendment defense of personal firearm ownership, these Americans were unarmed and posed no threat. Nevertheless, a previously disciplined Capitol Police officer shot and killed unarmed U.S. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.
Six months earlier, Antifa domestic terrorists and Black Lives Matter rioters burned down cities across the country, killing numerous Americans over months of sustained violence and causing more property damage than any riot in the nation’s history. Despite the death and destruction during those dangerous months, prominent Democrats and corporate news propagandists insisted on labeling 2020’s domestic terrorism the “Summer of Love.” The Democrat Party’s nominee for vice president, Kamala Harris, encouraged Americans to bail out anyone arrested for looting businesses or burning down neighborhoods. The Democrat-sponsored riots of 2020 set off a wave of arson, theft, murder, and violence against local police officers. It was the textbook definition of an “insurrection,” yet Establishment Washington insiders monstrously pretended that the prolonged criminal enterprise should be celebrated as some twisted reenactment of the civil rights movement. Few people were arrested; fewer were actually prosecuted; even fewer were criminally sentenced.
This is the kind of criminal justice double-standard to which Trump-supporters and MAGA voters have become accustomed. President Obama’s IRS illegally targeted conservative and religious nonprofits in order to prevent them from working against his re-election efforts. Under President Biden, FEMA employees intentionally ignored hurricane victims who could be identified as Trump-supporters. Domestic terrorists vandalize and burn down Christian churches, Jewish synagogues, and pro-life facilities; and Democrat prosecutors refuse to investigate the crimes or punish those responsible. Violent thugs beat up conservative workers and journalists, and Democrat judges give the criminals a slap on the wrist. Politicians, judges, and lawyers defended the 2020 riots as a “Summer of Love” but condoned the use of SWAT teams for predawn raids on humble homes owned by retired grandparents accused of being January 6 “insurrectionists.”
With all of this as background, Democrats in office and in corporate newsrooms now accuse President Trump of seeking “revenge” against those who have inflicted harm upon him, his colleagues, and his voters in the recent past. The prevailing feeling among Democrats in charge of America’s powerful institutions seems to be that Democrats should be allowed to harass and persecute their political opponents without paying any price. On the contrary, there must be a price. Otherwise, the crimes Democrats have already committed against conservative Americans will look small compared to what they have planned for the future.
Not only has Illinois governor and aspiring 2028 Democrat presidential nominee J.B. Pritzker called Department of Homeland Security officials and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents “Nazis,” but also he plans on prosecuting them for arresting criminal illegal aliens in his state. Democrat Senator Mark Kelly is threatening to prosecute “young service members” for following President Trump’s lawful orders to wage war against narco-terrorists killing Americans. Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell is demanding that Democrat candidates for the presidency pledge to “take a wrecking ball” to the privately funded renovations of the White House’s East Wing. Other prominent Democrats continue to insist that Democrat aspirants to the presidency first promise to imprison President Trump and his closest advisers for the rest of their lives.
Even after inciting the murder of Charlie Kirk just last month, Democrat pundits are unwilling to moderate their rhetorical calls for violence. Reptilian James Carville recently argued that all Trump-supporters must be rounded up, shaved bald, dressed in prison uniforms, and paraded down the street so that Democrats can spit on them. He insists that this “walk of shame” is the “only way to discourage future collaborators.” This is the kind of persecution and violence Democrats intend to inflict upon conservatives should they reclaim power.
We should not be surprised. We have endured Democrats’ abuse of the legal system at least since President Clinton was distracting the nation from his own scandals by pretending that freedom-loving Americans pose the greatest threat to the United States. Hillary Clinton calls us “deplorables.” Pritzker and the rest call us “fascists” and “Nazis.” Democrats must be punished for their crimes before Carville and his Antifa friends have a chance to carry out their threats. ✪

e didn’t bow. Obama did, but President Trump got out of his car, walked over to the emperor of Japan and shook his hand. Some people complained this broke protocol but it is OK for an emperor to touch The Donald. Go ahead. Shake his hand, Emperor Naruhito. He won’t bite you. You don’t have to bow. Trump has changed the world. Now he is visiting his new world.
Jiji Press reported:
The U.S. president arrived at the Imperial Palace in the presidential state car at around 6:30 p.m. The Emperor greeted him at the entrance with a smile and a handshake before they entered the palace for a roughly 30-minute meeting.
According to the Imperial Household Agency, Trump said at the start of their meeting that he was honored to have the opportunity to speak with the Emperor, adding that he wants to further strengthen Japan-U.S. relations under new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
Emperor Naruhito responded that he hopes Trump’s visit will further bolster the friendly relationship between the two countries.
Trump explained to the Emperor the efforts he had made to resolve conflicts around the world since taking office. The Emperor responded that he is pained by the continued conflicts around the globe and that he prays for peace.
Naruhito and Trump go way back. In 2019, Trump became the first foreign head of state to visit Naruhito following his ascension to the Chrysanthemum Throne.
Japan was the second stop in Trump’s triumphant tour of Asia. Malaysia was the first stop as he joined other leaders for the ASEAN summit. This was how Malaysia greeted him:

NBC cut the dancers out of their clip. More TDS p0rn. The American media keeps catering to the melting minority of Americans who believe Trump deserves hate and another bullet.
Like so many British news outlets, The Guardian believes it is part of the American press. With its story on Trump’s visit (I think the headline was “Trumpzilla Destroys Tokyo”) it posted this self-advertisement:
No censorship here. At this turbulent time for America, as we witness the erosion of democratic norms and attempts to silence the media, the need for a free and fearless press has never been greater. As billionaire-owned and corporate-backed media cave to government pressure, the Guardian’s fierce independence is non-negotiable.
The Guardian is so independent that it won’t take on Muslim migrants or gang-rapists for fear of offending Keir Starmer. Its editors won’t risk jail. They pick a safe target an ocean away to vent their anger and frustration with the British Government.
Trump is a world hero; a man of the people. Saudis love him, Israelis too. Only old smelly hippies and media munchkins hate him.
Size matters because when two big men are fighting, you need a bigger man to get them to stop. The world saw the USA finally intervene and end the Hamas War. The American media refuses to acknowledge how powerful that agreement is. The world needed a leader. He rose to the occasion like he was taking a stairway to a golden age.
In Kuala Lumpur, Trump formally signed a peace agreement ending a border war between Thailand and Cambodia. It was one of many.
Reuters reported:
“Within hours of landing in Malaysia, Trump and the White House had announced six trade agreements with four countries, some unexpected, including deals involving critical minerals with Thailand and Malaysia, amid competing efforts from Beijing in the rapidly growing sector.”
The man is on a quest for peace and rare earth elements. Malaysia is a Muslim country. This is how they bade him adieu:

His next stop was Tokyo. Newly installed PM Takaichi is Japan First. She is a disciple of Shinzo Abe. She wants to kick foreign invaders out. Good.
NPR reported:
She has advocated for tougher immigration restrictions and embraced hawkish policies on China. She has drawn comparisons to the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, for whom she has frequently expressed her admiration and often wears blue suits in tribute.
Japan could use an Iron Lady. So could we, but we don’t even have an Aluminum Lady. Then again, we don’t have another Iron Man. JD Vance? Hush. I remember when many in MAGA (including me) swooned over Mike Pence. Right now, the hillbilly Marine is on the We’ll See List.
CNN reported:
“Japan’s new prime minister faces her biggest test yet: Meeting Trump.”
I agree. There is a lot of money on the line. As CNN noted:
“Trump has reignited his tariff wars, targeting even longtime allies. After months of talks, tariffs on Japanese goods dropped from 25% to 15%, while Tokyo agreed to invest $550 billion in U.S. industries. But many details remain vague, and Takaichi is expected to seek more clarity.”
There is a new world order that replaces communism and its socialist façade with good old-fashioned nationalism; the belief that nationality matters. In World War II, Americans fought for America, Britons fought for Britain and Russians fought for Russia. They won.
Trump has not created this revolution any more than he founded Make America Great Again. That was a slogan from Ronald Reagan whose revolution began with Nixon’s Silent Majority. The arc of history favors freedom.
The new nationalist leaders see Trump as a leader. Javier Milei spends an inordinate amount of time in the USA. It paid off. Eric Daugherty tweeted:
▶️ 22 Seconds
HOLY SMOKES! Right-wing populist Javier Milei won so BIG in Argentina that his party surged its parliament deputies by 172%, from 37 to *101*, and senators by 233%, from 6 to 20. This is HUGE! He has defied all media expectations by far.
Right wing is a poor description as Milei bills himself as a libertarian. Let’s just mark him down as a nationalist who hates communism. The Western World is swinging Trump’s way.
Not everything is going his way but he is doing so many things at once that his successes overwhelm his setbacks. Democrats won’t budge on the government shutdown? Fine, Trump will just blow up drug smugglers and head to Asia to negotiate with real leaders.
Trump doesn’t quit because a salesman tries, tries, tries again and again until he gets the sale made.
As CNBC reported Trump said:
U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday that Washington and Beijing were poised to “come away with” a trade deal ahead of his expected meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to Japan from Malaysia, Trump added that he could sign a final deal on TikTok as early as Thursday. “I have a lot of respect for President Xi, and we are going to come away with the deal.”
Trump talks nice to Chairman Xi because he respects the dictator’s authority, power and use of that power. Xi is strong. Trump scorns and ridicules 98-poud weaklings like Starmer and Canada’s Carney because they are blasting their vuvuzelas when he’s trying to concentrate.
The president’s obsession with securing rare earth elements is based on the survival of America. Chairman Xi holds that big beautiful card. Trump wants to turn the card into a joker by cutting deals with Australia, Vietnam (second only to Red China in viable rare earth extractions) and other nations.
However, the biggest advantage Trump has over Xi is peace and prosperity. The world is rallying behind him. He bows to no one but the Lord. He shakes the hands of an emperor as easily as he works a drive-through at McDonald’s. ✪
▶️ LAWLESSNESS IS A CHOICE

LAWLESSNESS IS A CHOICE

ddd
hile being interviewed on a recent podcast, Texas Democrat Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett decided to opine on crime, a topic on which she apparently considers herself to be an expert. Her nutty conclusion was this: “Just because someone has committed a crime, it doesn’t make them a criminal.”
I can see how this logic would have a wide range of uses for politicians: “Just because someone told a lie, it doesn’t make them a liar. Just because someone took a bribe, it doesn’t make them corrupt.” It’s a bit like the thought experiment: “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” If a crime is committed and no one is responsible, was there actually a crime at all?
Of course, it’s nonsense. A criminal is defined precisely as a person who has committed a crime. However, when Crockett chooses her own definitions, she is simply echoing a progressive shibboleth that has turned blue cities across the country into lawless hellholes. It holds that people who commit crimes have no agency; that they are helpless victims of circumstance. Therefore, any attempt to hold them accountable by arresting them or putting them in jail is unjust as it further victimizes them.
The obvious result of this logic is that criminals are emboldened and their real victims become helpless hostages to lawlessness.
It is a short step from Crockett’s logic to the justification of defunding the police as a way to “make communities safer.” That communities become safer by having fewer police is, of course, a lie, but defunding police is what progressives have been doing since the anti-cop, BLM-Antifa riots of the “Summer of Love” in 2020.
As a former police reporter, I’ve seen how soft-on-crime policies hurt the very people progressives pretend to care about. It’s precisely the most vulnerable in our big cities who need the most policing and have the least resources to protect themselves from mayhem.
Living in New York City off and on over the past three decades, including in the pre-Mayor Rudy Giuliani era when it was a dystopian hellscape of crime and no-go zones, it’s striking how quickly soft-on-crime policies at the state and local level destroy your day-to-day sense of safety. Progressive criminal justice “reforms,” such as defunding the police, ending cash bail, refusing to prosecute misdemeanors, letting thousands of convicted felons out of prison early, and slashing the prison population, are the most obvious contributors to the escalating violent crime problem in blue cities.
In 2014, Bill de Blasio was elected Mayor of what he boasted was “the safest big city in America.” He championed all sorts of progressive policies, from bail reform to decriminalizing offenses such as public urination and marijuana possession—and eventually the New York City Council defunded the NYPD to the tune of $1 billion.
As predicted by everybody with any understanding of human nature, it did not take long for the city to become scary. There was a surge of mentally ill homeless people accorded the so-called freedom to sleep on the streets, and open-air drug bazaars popped up all over the place. This was followed by a surge of violent crime, including a spate of people being pushed in front of subway trains. Shoplifting became so normalized that convenience and drug stores had to lock up toothpaste.
The decriminalization of pot and public urination has only turbocharged the sense of chaos and disorder in blue cities. It marks a rejection of the famous “broken windows” theory that was the key to turning New York City around under Giuliani. The theory holds that addressing minor crimes, such as vandalism and public intoxication, creates an atmosphere of order and lawfulness. By contrast, the policy of ignoring so-called minor crimes encourages disorder and lawlessness.
People don’t knowingly or willingly vote for their quality of life to deteriorate. However, this is the progressive template, whether in the cities they control or on a national level with the open borders policy that, under the Biden Administration, brought in 20-25 million illegal migrants, many of them criminals.
It is common sense that law and order is an 80-20 issue. You don’t need a pollster to say so, although according to a recent AP-NORC poll, 81 percent of Americans across political persuasions say crime is a “major problem.” The other 19 percent must be either criminals, progressive politicians, or both.
In a world not defined by Jasmine Crockett, it makes no sense that progressives would remain stubbornly on the wrong side of their own voters; but their unhinged hostility to President Trump’s successful crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., suggests that that’s where they are.
In the first three weeks after Trump sent the National Guard into the nation’s capital, Attorney General Pam Bondi reported 1,528 arrests and 156 illegal guns seized. Nearly half of the arrests were of illegal migrant criminals, including violent felons convicted of rape, child molestation, assault, and robbery with a deadly weapon.
The D.C. crime rate plummeted across the board as a result, with violent crime down 30 percent in the first month after federal troops were deployed on August 7, according to the White House. The Metropolitan Police Department was even more bullish, citing a 40 percent drop in violent crime when compared to the same period last year, including a staggering 82 percent drop in carjackings.
D.C. residents, most of whom are black, expressed relief at being able to live without fear of being robbed or assaulted. Yet left-wing pundits on CNN and MSNBC called Trump a “dictator” and said his crackdown on “so-called crime” is racist and a “military occupation.” Bondi had to fire two of her staff members—left-wing paralegals who hurled foul-mouthed abuse and a Subway sandwich at federal officers who are bringing order to D.C.
Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser, who had been remarkably cooperative with the federal intervention, nonetheless testified on September 18 that Trump’s National Guard deployment had nothing to do with the newly safe streets. She would rather be seen as unmoored from the truth than publicly admit that more cops and more arrests reduce crime. The hostility to law and order runs deep in a party that has made defunding the police an article of faith.
Trump is plowing ahead regardless, vowing to expand his D.C. policies to high crime cities like Chicago, Memphis, and Baltimore, which he called a “hellhole.” He is onto a popular issue and has shown that crime crackdowns can rapidly improve American lives. Ultimately he hopes to shame big-city mayors into cleaning up their own cities before he sends in the troops.
When asked by a reporter if he would consider sending the National Guard into Republican-run cities that are “also seeing high crime,” Trump replied: “Sure, but there aren’t that many of them. If you look at the top 25 cities for crime, just about every one of those cities is run by Democrats.” Cue apoplexy from the usual suspects, but he was right. If anything, he understated the problem. A 2022 report by the Heritage Foundation, “The Blue City Murder Problem,” found that 27 of the top 30 cities with the highest homicide rates were run by Democrats.
Now, inexplicably, New York City is set to elect a far-left mayor, Zohran Mamdani, who wants to decriminalize misdemeanors and divert money from cops to social workers. The Democratic Socialists of America platform he ran on when he was elected to the New York Assembly in 2021 called for decriminalizing all drugs, letting illegal immigrants vote and hold elected office, and dealing with 26-year-old criminals as youth offenders. Now he plans to make New York a double sanctuary city for illegal aliens and transgenderism, mirroring the catastrophic soft-on-crime policies of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
Mamdani wants to ban ICE from removing violent criminals and predators, and he wants to spend millions of taxpayer dollars to create more “LGBTQIA+ Liaisons” in schools to brainwash more kids into thinking they are trapped in a body of the opposite sex. He also wants to codify transgender guidelines to force girls to share bathrooms with biological males.
Lawlessness and disorder are not inevitable in big cities. Giuliani demonstrated this 30 years ago in New York, and Trump has now proved it again in D.C. But the dwindling percentage of voters in New York who bother turning in a ballot for the mayoral race are determined to be the turkeys who voted for Thanksgiving.
The law-and-order paradox is even more stark when it comes to illegal migrant criminals. When Trump claimed on the campaign trail that other countries had opened their jails and set the inmates loose on America, it seemed like hyperbole. However, among the bad hombres that DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Border Czar Tom Homan have been arresting, there is an enormous preponderance of murderers, rapists, and child molesters.
You would think that we have enough home-grown criminals without importing new ones. However, that is what Joe Biden and whoever was wielding his autopen decided willfully to do for four years while the nation’s media turned a blind eye.
After years of gaslighting and excuses from the Biden Administration, Trump fulfilled his promise to secure the border within the first 100 days of his second term. But now comes the hard part: deportations. You would think every American would welcome the removal of the sorts of criminal degenerates who raped and murdered Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and twelve-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. But no! ICE and Border Patrol officers are under attack from violent, organized militants posing as protesters who throw rocks at their vehicles, slash their tires, and obstruct their movements. Officers have also been doxxed and labeled fascists.
Recently, an ICE officer was seriously injured when he was dragged down the road by a car driven by a criminal illegal alien resisting arrest. In January, a Border Patrol agent was ambushed and slaughtered by members of a vegan transgender cult on a murderous rampage across the country. On September 24, there was a sniper attack on an ICE facility in Dallas. That followed a July 4 shooting attack on an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas.
The job is made more dangerous by sanctuary city laws, whereby authorities refuse to hand over violent criminal illegal aliens for deportation. DHS and ICE are conducting operations right now in Chicago, but Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson are doing everything they can to obstruct these operations.
I went on a pre-dawn raid in Chicago recently with Secretary Noem and more than 100 heavily armed Border Patrol and ICE agents. We rode in armored vehicles with helicopter and drone support to execute a felony arrest warrant on a single criminal illegal alien who had previously been deported but returned under Biden and has convictions for violent assault. It was an extraordinary commitment of resources for one criminal—although, as often happens with these raids, it netted an additional four illegal migrants who were also in the house.
Given the challenges of each deportation, it seems unlikely that Biden’s toxic border legacy can be reversed in four years, so we may be stuck with extra mayhem from foreign criminals beyond the next election cycle.
Trump’s latest law-and-order crackdown comes in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. On September 22, the President designated the violent anarchist group Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. The 22-year-old leftist who shot Kirk in the throat as he was answering a question about transgender violence at a crowded campus event in Utah had carved Antifa slogans and transgender references onto his shell casings. Despite Jimmy Kimmel’s claim, the killer was not a “MAGA Republican.” He was a radicalized leftist with a trans lover who was also a “furry”—someone with a sexual fetish involving dressing up as an animal. The assassin told family members that Kirk was hateful and that “some hate can’t be negotiated out.”
Kirk’s murder has brought to the fore the leftist political violence that has engulfed this country in recent years. Only two months ago, Kirk warned that “assassination culture is spreading on the left,” citing a poll showing that
Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump. The Left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response.
The latest wave of violence began with the deadly BLM-Antifa riots of 2020, which were tacitly encouraged by Democrats like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as a way to destabilize then-President Trump. Then, of course, Trump was the target of two assassination attempts last year. There was the arson and vandalism against Tesla dealerships to intimidate Elon Musk and punish him for supporting Trump. In May, Israeli Embassy staffers Yaron Lischinsky and his fiancée Sarah Lynn Milgrim were assassinated, allegedly by a left-wing Palestinian activist, outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. Even the arson attack on the home of Pennsylvania’s Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro was perpetrated by a left-wing, pro-Hamas, anti-Israel activist.
UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was assassinated in Manhattan last December, shot in the back in cold blood, allegedly by wealthy leftist Luigi Mangione, who spouted left-wing critiques of corporate greed and has become a folk hero to the Left. When Mangione appeared in a Manhattan courtroom recently, a crowd of supporters chanted, “Free Luigi,” and cheered when the judge dropped some of the charges against him.
The public outpouring of sympathy for Mangione and the callous attitude towards his victim, a midwestern father of two teenagers who worked his way to the top, seem to have altered the political discourse on violence. “Violence is never the answer,” was Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren’s verdict on Mangione. “But people can only be pushed so far.” Warren’s colleagues doubled down on their dehumanization of Trump and his supporters, branding them as fascists and Nazis. All that was needed for tragedy to ensue was an unhinged person to take them at their word.
With their dehumanizing rhetoric and soft-on-crime policies, progressives create permission structures that excuse crime and violence, remove accountability, and blur the distinction between right and wrong. As if that weren’t enough, in New York they have also created powerful disincentives for good citizens to protect themselves or others from crime.
A case in point was the persecution of former U.S. Marine Daniel Penny, who subdued a homeless, mentally ill man, Jordan Neely, as he was threatening to kill passengers on a New York subway car. Neely died soon after police arrived, and Manhattan prosecutor Alvin Bragg charged Penny with homicide. Penny was acquitted by a jury, but not before being portrayed by the media and others on the Left as a racist vigilante, despite the fact that passengers testified how scared they had been and how grateful they were that he had intervened.
It was a tragedy that there was no Good Samaritan like Penny in the light rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina, where 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska was murdered with a knife by another homeless man with a lengthy criminal record. However, that was the point of prosecuting Penny: to make an example of him and dissuade other valiant young men from protecting women like Iryna.
The intense blowback against Trump’s efforts to restore law and order rams home the point that it is a deliberate choice by progressives to preserve lawlessness in their cities. When you think about it, the strategy seems to have paid off, if all you care about is power, since progressives have a generational stranglehold on the cities with the worst crime.
From that skewed perspective, maybe Crockett isn’t so nutty after all. ✪

RED STATES ARE READY FOR THE VOTING RIGHTS ACT TO BE GUTTED

ccc
emocrats in the South are bracing for annihilation as the Supreme Court considers arguments involving a key provision in the Voting Rights Act regarding a case involving redistricting in Louisiana. If the VRA is gutted, it’s not inconceivable to suggest that the GOP is going to run the table on House races for the foreseeable future. It’s why Democrats are sweating through their sheets right now, and Republicans are at the ready whenever the decision drops
Via Politico:
Some Republicans across the south are preparing to redraw their congressional maps to boot Democrats out of office; if the Supreme Court issues a ruling on a case gutting the Voting Rights Act in time for the midterms.
While such a decision is no sure thing, some states are nonetheless planning for the scenario. The potential scramble to redraw could completely reshape the midterms, and Democrats are already sounding the alarm. One Democrat group forecasted an ambitious 19 seat pickup for the GOP by dismantling majority Black and other majority-minority districts currently protected by the VRA, though that would be an extreme scenario where every possible state redistricts.
Were that portion of the VRA to be weakened or entirely invalidated by the court, it could open up the floodgates for redistricting, if not in time for 2026 than certainly for 2028.
In South Carolina, for example, top Republicans in the state are itching to draw out the state’s lone Democrat: Rep. Jim Clyburn.
“If we could have a clean sweep, I would love that,” South Carolina Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, who is running for governor, told POLITICO.
[…]
In Louisiana — the state that is central to the case challenging the Voting Rights Act — Gov. Jeff Landry has called a special session to adjust the state’s primary date to give the most possible time for a redraw.
During oral arguments, the high court’s conservative justices seemed poised to weaken the law. Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch appeared inclined to bar virtually any use of race in redistricting, suggesting that race-conscious district lines might be unconstitutional.
✪✪✪✪✪
We’ll see what gets handed down by the Supreme Court, but these actions are now necessary due to the Left’s unbridled insanity on public policy. You can’t speak with Democrats without being subjected to screaming, whining, or some self-righteous lecture. They’re not even human at this point. Redrawing maps wherever possible in red states is a move toward stopping the nation from being taken over by the lizard people. ✪

SPRINGSTEEN MOVIE BIOPIC FLOPS LIKE A DEAD FISH

lll
ew Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen may have been “Born in the U.S.A.,” but nobody in America or anywhere else in the world wanted to watch the new biopic about his life, as it bombed worldwide over the weekend. This isn’t really surprising when you take into account that Springsteen hasn’t been relevant musically in ages, but toss in the anti-Trump, hard left-wing philosophy he spouts constantly, and it’s clear the rejection of the film shows people rejecting him and the overt politicization of every part of life.
Music, like most forms of art and entertainment, exists as a means of escape. The state of the world wearies people. We live in an age where we are connected to the news and happenings of the entire human race all day, every day. We are finite beings trying to make ourselves divine by taking on omniscience.
Quite frankly, it’s making us crack. Look at how jaded everyone has become over the course of the last decade. We aren’t meant to have access to this level of knowledge. We can’t handle it. We weren’t designed to.
Once upon a time, we could retreat into entertainment, leave behind the troubles of everyday life, and share in the beauty of creation. Now our movies, television shows, and yes, especially our music, carry the same stuff we try so hard to leave behind for a few hours.
Now, that’s not to say that music isn’t political or can’t have a message. However, the most timeless music transcends what divides us and appeals to common human experience. That’s how it brings people together. You and I might be on different sides of the political spectrum, but I guarantee we’ve had our share of lost loved ones, broken relationships, and tough times.
When a musician does nothing but use their gift as a pulpit without seeking human connection with the audience, it’s just propaganda. There’s nothing to bring people together. And that’s why Springsteen is irrelevant, and why nobody gives a crap about his new movie.
Director Scott Cooper’s Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere only earned an abysmal $9.1 million here in the U.S. And given Springsteen’s supposed legendary status as a rock icon, you’d think billions of moviegoers around the world would have helped pull in a healthy chunk of change for the film. But that didn’t happen.
Internationally, the movie brought in only $7 million, giving it a global total of $16 million.
According to John Nolte of Breitbart:
“Well, box office analysts expected the worst it would do in America was $15 million, and it ended up only barely topping the domestic worst-case scenario all over the world. Is this a case of ‘Go woke, go broke?’ Well, as I wrote on Sunday, it’s no secret that Springsteen has spent the better part of a decade alienating his core fans by selling them out and smearing them as racist, fascist, and un-American because they support Donald Trump.”
He then goes on to explain why Springsteen no longer appeals to folks the world over. At one time, Springsteen identified himself and his music with working-class people by crafting songs full of subtext, storytelling, and metaphor. Yeah, it was obvious he had a left-wing bent, but how he voted didn’t matter, as the art remained accessible to everyone.
The Boss was a man who talked directly to the average person, who understood the challenges of life and expressed genuine care for people. But that all changed. He’s now a crotchety old man who rants and rails for minutes on end during his shows about Trump and alienates the very people who make up the majority of his audience.
Nolte writes:
“Up and down the line, just like David Letterman and Howard Stern, Bruce squandered it, sold it cheap to become a bigshot in the Establishment. He sold us out, he sold out his art, he stabbed us in the back and revealed that he hates us. So now we’re hating him back.”
And part of that means ignoring his art; whether music or film, as he bloviates himself into oblivion. ✪

KING CHARLES UNVEILS THE UK’S 1ST LBGTQ MILITARY MONUMENT

ppp
he King of the United Kingdom Charles III along with numerous other government & military dignitaries gathered on Monday for the inauguration of a wavy and almost floating memorial monument filled with letters. The monument is the first in the United Kingdom to honor the LGBTQ people who serve the country’s military.
The inauguration took place in the National Memorial Grove in Alrewas in Staffordshire where the splendor of autumn flowers surrounded the monument.
The King is the ceremonial commander of the British Forces; and the monument was erected a quarter of a century after the United Kingdom lifted the ban on LGBTQ people joining the country’s military forces.
Countless soldiers were forced to leave during that ban and several lost the right to decorations and medals as well as earned pension; as they were considered or suspected to be homosexual, bisexual, trans or queer.
The ban was officially lifted in 1999, after a ruling by the European Court. The then Prime Minister issued a formal apology for the ban in 2023, saying it was a “despicable failure from the British state.” An effort to compensate those affected was also initiated.
And the letters in bronze in the floating monument; they form words from the people who were subjected to the harassment. The monument is called An Open Letter. ✪
▶️ DON’T TALK SMACK ABOUT OUR GIRL SUSAN COLLINS

DON’T TALK SMACK ABOUT OUR GIRL SUSAN COLLINS

ooo
‘m so hardcore right-wing that I consider Genghis Khan a sissy femboi, but I must confess my adoration for Senator Susan Collins. You know Susan Collins? She’s a Republican from Maine, which is a lot like finding leftovers in Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker’s fridge. It’s theoretically possible, but you never truly expect to see it actually happen.
And yet it has happened. For five six-year terms, the good people of the Maple Syrup ‘n Moose State have sent this Republican off to Washington, D.C. She’s now running for a sixth term, in which, next November, she’ll face either Herr Obergruppendoofus Graham Platner (D-Nuremberg) or Governor Janet Mills (D-Sunny Acres). If Collins wins; o, rather when she wins, she’ll remain the last elected Republican senator north of Pennsylvania. And, as far as I am concerned, she has a permanent “Get Out of Conservative Media Outrage” card that allows her to do whatever she needs to make that happen, no matter how annoying what she does is in the short term.
It’s super weird to have a Republican in New England, and we conservatives need to sit back, shut up, and enjoy the ride. How did it happen? The people of Maine are known for being quirky, starting with how they choose to live in Maine. Some of us like cold weather and woods; folks like me prefer our trees palm and our food Mexican. But Mainers are gonna Maine. They lean blue, and it’s getting worse as a result of the invasion of the Chardonnay crones from the rest of New England who flee north to escape the damage they’ve done to their home states, yet feel compelled to bring the same garbage politics they are trying to escape from along with them.
Maine does its own electoral thing. Angus King is Maine’s other senator, and he calls himself an independent even though he is the dancing monkey to Democrat organ grinder Chuck Schumer. Democrat Jared Golden is one of their two House representatives, and he occasionally votes across party lines because his district is Trumpy. In fact, Trump won an electoral vote by winning Golden’s 2nd Congressional District in 2016, 2020, and 2024, because Maine is one of those states that divides its electoral votes. It also uses ranked-choice voting, because it’s Maine, and they are odd.
This refusal to just be normal is why it isn’t a huge surprise that Mainers are willing to entertain somebody like Susan Collins despite the “R.” She seals the deal because she is a remarkably smart, effective, and tireless politician who knows exactly what kind of representation her constituents want and gives it to them no matter how much the rest of her party whines about the way she does it. Her constituents dig her. No one is better at patting backs and glad-handing than Susan Collins. I haven’t been to Maine except one time, 50 years ago – I saw a moose – but the people who go there a lot tell me that she walks down the street and literally knows everybody she sees. And it’s not fake. She’s genuine. Susan Collins loves her state, loves her people, and does what she thinks is right by them. You really couldn’t ask for more than that in a senator. Mainers accept nothing less.
This is a woman who puts her state first, but let’s face it. She’s not a conservative firebrand. She’s not a conservative at all. She’s one of those old New England Republicans, the kind that doesn’t exist anymore except for her. She’s pro-choice and buys into a lot of the kind of social issue nonsense that tiresome old-school Republicans used to believe in. In many ways, she could’ve been a blue dog Democrat in another age, before they were all put down by the MSNBC addicts. Today, she’s as far left as you can get in the Senate GOP caucus, and I don’t care.
Not at all.
Here’s the thing. We’re never going to do better in Maine. Ever. Just be glad she exists. But there’s another thing. You can’t be angry with someone who is not a fraud. She’s not a Thom Tillis or a Jimmy Lankford who talks a good game about being conservative and gets to Washington and proceeds to stick us in the back. She’s not betraying us because she never pretended to be a conservative in the first place. She is who she is, and she’s going to represent her state her way, and she doesn’t care what you think, or what I think, or what John Thune thinks, or what Chuck Schumer thinks. All she cares about is what that lumberjack, oysterman, moose wrangler, or maple syrup monger thinks.
And she takes her job seriously; she’s not chair of the Appropriations Committee because she does viral TikToks. She really cares about what she’s doing. Do you remember when she went through that whole Hamlet thing about Brett Kavanaugh? She wasn’t being performative. She was trying to decide whether this guy deserved her vote, and she came to the objectively right and fair decision. And she delivers when she votes for a Republican majority leader.
As much as I would like her to be the second coming of Jim Banks or Mike Lee or Eric Schmitt or any of the other hardcore conservative senators, that’s not who she is, and that’s not who her state is. We’re never going to elect a Republican senator from Maine who is with us 99% of the time. But with Susan Collins, we’re going to get somebody who is with us 75% of the time, and you know, that’s good enough. It sure beats no percent of the time. Maybe.
There’s another thing about Susan Collins that I admire. She’s got an important skill for a politician, a general, or a guy trying to meet girls in a bar. She’s lucky. Look at the Democrat clown car that pulls up and disgorges a circus every time there’s a primary in Maine. Her opponent ends up spending 100 million bucks of Democrat donor cash jousting at the windmill, and gets his, her, or their clock cleaned. Some pinko darling of the Left is not going to outwork Susan Collins even if they outspend her.
This time, the Democrats are putting up either their current governor, Janet Mills, who makes Mrs. Methuselah look like Shirley Temple, or Graham Platner, the failson, hicklib weirdo who either knew he had a Nazi tattoo etched into his torso or, arguably worse, was too stupid to know he had a Nazi tattoo etched into his torso (Of course, he knew what it was; Democrats are happy to have him lie to their smug, botoxed faces). The lefty base in Maine is delighted at the opportunity to vote for Yellowstone AOCboy, but the lefty base in Maine isn’t the real Maine.
Susan Collins is the real Maine, as Maine as it gets. Although she couldn’t care less what some hardcore conservative from Southern California thinks, and she shouldn’t; this bomb-thrower couldn’t be happier to have her genteel, polite, and sober presence representing the Mooseland. I don’t want to hear a harsh word about Susan Collins; I’m just glad the GOP big tent is big enough, and our party smart enough, to accommodate her. ✪
