THE TRUMP DOCTRINE

kkk
he U.S. attack on Venezuela, much like its attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities last summer, was an operational masterstroke that undermines China, Russia, and Iran. It may undermine deterrence. America’s adversaries may conclude the Trump Doctrine, which has now been employed twice, means the U.S. acts with decision only when the United States faces a sufficiently vulnerable enemy, and only if it can fulfill specific operational criteria.
China, in particular, may assume it can simply present too thorny a target for American power to crack. The solution is for the Trump Administration to move beyond tailored strikes and to wage a large-scale effort against America’s enemies through economic, intelligence, and alliance means.
Precision raids can humiliate America’s enemies, but if they signal Washington strikes only the weak, they risk teaching China and Russia how to deter the United States rather than fear it.
The raid that captured Venezuelan narco-terrorist-in-chief Maduro was an instance of spectacular planning. Only the United States could have conducted Operation ABSOLUTE RESOLVE. The U.S. used technical means and high-end human intelligence sources from a clandestine team inserted into Venezuela months before the strikes to build a detailed picture of Maduro’s daily habits. It combined this with a likely offensive cyber effort that disabled Venezuelan electricity just as the operation began.
In turn, U.S. carrier aviation and aircraft deployed from the American homeland simultaneously jammed and attacked Venezuelan radars and air defense systems, creating a corridor for U.S. Delta Force operators to insert into Caracas, capture Maduro and his wife, and extract him within 30 minutes. Some luck was involved, of course, with one helicopter taking damage from low-level anti-air fire. But any threat that Venezuelan defenses posed was mitigated to the greatest possible extent.
Indeed, Operation ABSOLUTE RESOLVE was remarkably similar to Operation MIDNIGHT HAMMER, the U.S. strike on Iran’s Fordow nuclear complex. In each case, the U.S. employed the full spectrum of intelligence capabilities to identify the target. In each case, the U.S. used an asset without peer—its B-2 stealth bombers delivering Massive Ordnance Penetrators against Iran, Delta Force operators against Venezuela—with the support of perfectly synchronized conventional, electromagnetic, and cyber capabilities.
Crucially, in each case, the target identified was a highly specific operational one—albeit with strategic implications—not a truly strategic target in itself. The Islamic Republic has been significantly wounded, principally through Israeli airstrikes and intelligence operations. Its proxies in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza are badly degraded or destroyed. Moreover, MIDNIGHT HAMMER badly damaged the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, embarrassed Russia and China, and more broadly undermined a vexing long-term U.S. adversary. However, the Islamic Republic still exists. It still retains a significant ballistic missile production capacity. It still supports Russia’s war effort in Ukraine and sells oil to China. It likely still supported Venezuela’s Maduro. Israel may solve the Iran problem this year through renewed airstrikes and assassinations that, combined with popular unrest, could throttle the theocracy in Tehran. Yet its window remains relatively narrow, with elections impending by the autumn, and a re-consolidation of its offensive striking power.
Bringing Maduro to justice similarly damages Russian and Chinese interests. It demonstrates Russia’s inability to protect its partners—after all, Venezuela is a key Russian military and intelligence ally, with Russia providing Caracas significant counterintelligence support. It also undermines China, with valuable Venezuelan crude now potentially under U.S. control, and Chinese infrastructure investments now vulnerable to U.S. pressure. In turn, Cuba becomes much more vulnerable: the communist regime in Havana, another hostile whose partners include Russia and China, is at risk of collapse without Venezuelan discounted oil.
However, as it stands, the Trump Administration has decided not to support a serious transition in Venezuela that ensures the United States maintains an enduring strategic advantage. Instead, backed by CIA analysis—rather than operations—the White House is inclined to work with Delcy Rodriguez, Maduro’s vice president, who is equally enmeshed in narcotrafficking and illegal oil exports, remains a committed Chavista, and has long-standing partnerships with China, Russia, and Iran.
Delcy will maintain the narco-infrastructure that has made Venezuela a persistent strategic problem for the United States and, by extension, provided Russia, China, and Iran invaluable access into the Western Hemisphere, at best making cosmetic concessions to U.S. oil companies. A more durable approach would actually demand a transition in power, using the enormous U.S. military contractor community to mitigate downside risks.
The greatest strategic problem the U.S. faces in the next decade is Chinese expansionism. Chinese Maximum Leader Xi Jinping remains committed to absorbing Taiwan, a move that would shift the western Pacific balance of power in Beijing’s favor. It would prime China for even greater expansion, placing U.S. interests at risk between the First Island Chain and Guam, in time menacing Hawaii, and allowing China to access the Western Hemisphere. Using force against Venezuela and Iran has surely given Xi and his coterie pause. If the U.S. is willing to use force against these targets, then perhaps Washington would execute a similarly aggressive strategy against China as hostilities over Taiwan intensified.
However, there is a serious risk that, by year-end, they draw the opposite conclusion: that the U.S. only uses force when faced with a vulnerable target.
The solution is not simply or exclusively to engage in a military buildup, although a larger defense budget—principally to fund air, naval, and space forces—is crucial to maintain U.S. military power over the next half-decade. It is instead to apply the significant heft of American power against other targets. Three steps are crucial.
First, the Trump Administration can impose meaningful sanctions on Russian and Iranian illicit oil smuggling. This would slash both regimes’ bottom lines and give U.S. domestic producers. The administration can build off the momentum of its intelligence success in Venezuela, giving the CIA and intelligence community more broadly authorization to execute covert action against Russian and Chinese affiliates, whether in Africa, Southeast Asia, or the Middle East. Third, the U.S. can back allies—like Israel—to solve long-term strategic problems, endorsing actions like renewed Israeli strikes on Iran.
The balance in great power competition is measured not only in its contestants’ strength, but because the accompanying and often derivative effects—international influence, economic pre-eminence, technological innovation—succor a global climate that is either friendly or hostile to differing and opposing political ends: China and Russia exemplify the latter. A Trump Doctrine that aims at nullifying the most dangerous threats to U.S. security would help accomplish this. ✪
▶️ WHERE TEXAS MEETS TEHRAN

WHERE TEXAS MEETS TEHRAN

jjjj
he skyline of Midland, Texas, and the smog-filled streets of Tehran may be 7,000 miles apart, but in 2026, their fates are inextricably linked. As the Islamic Republic of Iran faces its most volatile internal crisis since the 1979 Revolution, the global energy market is bracing for a “Supply Shock” unlike any seen in the modern era.
For the Texas oil industry, the stakes are paradoxical: The fall of a geopolitical rival could either be the ultimate victory or mean a catastrophic price war.
Since the 2025 election, the White House has moved from a strategy of “containment” to “maximum economic strangulation” regarding Iran. Current estimates suggest that despite sanctions, Iran has been leaking roughly 1.5 million barrels of oil per day into the “shadow market.”
If a regime change occurs, these “ghost barrels” will be legalized, and an additional 2 million barrels of latent capacity could flood the market. For the Permian Basin, which has seen record-breaking production levels in early 2026, this influx of supply represents a direct threat to the current price floor of $75 per barrel.
The Trump Administration’s 2026 energy policy; dubbed “Energy Dominance 2.0” is built on the assumption that Texas can outproduce any global competitor. However, a democratic or “Free Iran” would likely seek immediate Western investment to rebuild its crumbling infrastructure.
Texas-based giants like Halliburton and Baker Hughes are reportedly already drafting “Day After” contingency plans. The goal? To pivot from seeing Iran as a sanctioned rival to a massive reconstruction client.
- The Risk: A sudden drop in global oil prices to $40 or $50 could lead to a “drilling holiday” in West Texas.
- The Reward: Control over the technology and logistics used to modernize the world’s third-largest oil reserves.
The real catalyst for this shift is the 2026 Trade and Security Act, which imposes a 25% tariff on any nation facilitating Iranian oil exports. This has effectively backed China; Iran’s largest customer, into a corner. According to recent reports from the American Petroleum Institute, the goal is to bankrupt the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) before they can finalize their nuclear breakout.
If the Iranian regime falls this year, we will witness the greatest transfer of energy influence in history. Texas will no longer just be a producer; it will be the architect of a new Middle Eastern energy grid.
However, for the independent wildcatters in the Permian, the message is clear: Efficiency is the only survival strategy. In a world where Iranian oil is “free” again, only the most cost-effective Texas wells will keep the lights on in Midland.
Now let us try to look into which Texas firms win the “Post-Regime” Iran.
If the geopolitical dam breaks in Tehran, the ensuing flood won’t just be oil — it will be a tidal wave of infrastructure contracts. Unlike the aging fields of Venezuela, Iran’s oil industry is structurally sound but technologically starved. For the heavyweights in Houston and Dallas, the “Iranian Opening” represents the largest untapped service market of the decade.
In early 2026, American oil producers have already signaled a bullish stance on stabilizing a post-regime Iran. The most immediate beneficiaries will be the companies that provide the “hardware” of the oil field:
- Halliburton: With deep historical ties to the region, Halliburton is the frontrunner for well completion and hydraulic fracturing services. It has spent 2025 reshuffling executive leadership to focus on global operations, positioning them perfectly for a rapid Middle Eastern pivot.
- Baker Hughes: Specializing in “intelligent” completions and subsea technology, Baker Hughes is already expanding its fleet in Saudi Arabia, creating a massive logistical hub just across the Persian Gulf from Iran’s largest offshore fields.
- SLB (Formerly Schlumberger): Though technically international, its massive Houston headquarters drives its “Digital Map” technology, which would be essential for modernizing Iran’s 50-year-old reservoir data.
Rebuilding Iran isn’t just about getting oil out of the ground; it’s about moving it. Iran’s pipeline infrastructure is notorious for leaks and inefficiencies. Texas-based Kinder Morgan, one of the largest infrastructure companies in North America, has the financial expectations for 2026 already baked into its “growth through transition” strategy. Its expertise in large-scale natural gas transport would be the “missing link” for Iran’s South Pars field, the largest gas reservoir in the world.
Texas companies are wary for a reason. History is littered with disputes, like the famous Oil Field of Texas, Inc. v. Iran, where Houston-based firms spent years in international courts fighting for unpaid equipment leases after the 1979 Revolution.
To mitigate this in 2026, the American Petroleum Institute (API) is advocating for “contract sanctity” as a prerequisite for any Texas firm entering the territory. According to API president Mike Sommers, the industry is skeptical of entering any market without ironclad legal protections from the host government.
The “Texas-Tehran” connection is a high-reward, high-volatility play. Although oil prices have spiked recently due to disruption fears, the long-term play is in the modernization phase. The winner won’t be the country that gets the oil first, but the Texas companies that get the contracts to build the pipes, sensors, and rigs that make the new Iranian energy economy possible. ✪
▶️ NOT A MINNESOTA PROBLEM: IT’S A BLUE STATE PROBLEM

NOT A MINNESOTA PROBLEM: IT’S A BLUE STATE PROBLEM

jjj
here’s a deeper, darker truth lurking beneath the Somali-dominated, multi-billion-dollar Minnesota welfare fraud schemes that have commanded the attention of federal authorities and stoked nationwide outrage.
And it may explain in part why for weeks, Democrats and regime media have been gaslighting the country, casting critics as bigots, and shooting the messengers who sent the long-neglected story viral — and why, now, state and local leaders are trying to turn Minneapolis into a powder keg. The Left’s dodges and diversions distract from the fact that the fraud is a feature of what we might call The Blue Model of Government.
Fueled by the welfare state and increasingly open borders, it is at core about political patronage, profiteering, and plunder. Democrats’ survival depends upon a political-business model of vote-buying via legal and illicit wealth redistribution. Suppressing the Minnesota story is critical.
Progressives’ paradigm reveals itself when one connects the dots leading to the pilfering of an estimated $9 billion — half of the $18 billion doled out across 14 welfare programs since 2018 — and a city on the brink of insurrection.
✪ Minnesota’s Resettlement Infrastructure & Safety Net
Start with the fact that Minnesota created one of the most generous welfare systems in the nation. Though not unique to the North Star State, its system is marked by woefully inadequate safeguards, particularly in its administration of federal aid-to-state programs.
Enter the mass importation of Somali migrants, seemingly without consideration of their nature, the attendant risks, or of whether absorbing them was in America’s national interest.
Following the collapse of Mogadishu’s Marxist-Islamist Barre regime, and the subsequent tumult of the early 1990s, the State Department prioritized the Twin Cities area for resettlement. It did so, in part, it appears, because of the state’s substantial safety net and robust refugee resettlement infrastructure — such as the extant agencies to whom the feds largely outsource resettlement.
Refugees often rely on welfare, and the Somali population has proven extraordinarily and persistently reliant upon it. According to a recent Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) analysis, some 89 percent of Somali households with children receive some form of welfare benefit; 54 percent of Somali-led households receive food stamps; and 73 percent of such households have at least one family member on Medicaid.
The clannish population also comes from said Marxist-Islamist milieu and is concentrated in urban areas. All of these factors made it a particularly ripe voting bloc for the state’s Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party to court.
State agencies, several of which helped make Minnesota the home of the Somali diaspora, have long been ideologically committed to open borders. Their budgets have swelled in proportion to the number of foreigners relocated into the U.S. via the United Nations refugee bureaucracy, working hand in glove with Foggy Bottom. These agencies’ bent and incentive structure arguably militated against the national interest — as was clear more than 20 years ago.
They would help Minnesota become a magnet for Somali migrants placed elsewhere in the country. The population of Somali immigrants or those with Somali ancestry in Minnesota exploded, per CIS, from more than 50,000 in 2010, to more than 115,000 in 2024; largely concentrated in Minneapolis, population 425,000, and the surrounding areas.
That the population swelled in part due to fraud has gone overlooked. Thousands of Somali refugees entered the U.S. via a family reunification program that, between 2008 and 2012, the State Department had to suspend due to massive rates of fraud. The Federal Government never removed these individuals from the country. This immigration fraud, like the fraud that would come later, could have been anticipated given the endemic corruption in Somalia itself.
✪ Representative Omar’s Fraud
The Somali migrant population would prove not only fraud-prone, but jihadist-prone. A disproportionate percentage of prosecutions brought against those joining or attempting to join ISIS in the U.S. emanated from Minnesota and were of Somali descent. In 2016, then-State Representative-Elect Ilhan Omar would write a letter to a federal judge presiding over a case covering nine such individuals, calling for leniency in sentencing.
That Omar could rise first to the state legislature, and ultimately to the U.S. House, assuming the seat of Keith Ellison; another radical leftist and Islamist sympathizer linked to the fraud — reflected the growing political clout of this growing population.
Somali migrants enabled Omar’s ascent, first as a state representative, out of the “Little Mogadishu” community from which she hailed. Her alleged criminality failed to derail this ascent. There is extensive evidence the Muslim Muslim representative legally married her flamboyant brother before a Christian minister; the brother a British citizen who would arrive in the U.S. in 2008, attend North Dakota State University with Omar, and then divorce her before returning to the U.K. in 2012. The associated events would potentially implicate the congresswoman in fraud and perjury pertaining to immigration, marriage, taxes, and even potentially student loans. She of course will deny any such claims.
As she sought state office in 2016, Omar would cast as bigots those who sought to scrutinize her, covered by a protective media; a pattern that would recur at a broader scale with her involvement in the Feeding Our Future fraud scandal.
Her rapid rise to the position of Rep. Ellison’s successor, after winning the 2018 election for his Twin Cities congressional seat, reflected not only the growing might of the Somali community that backed her, but her increasing embrace by Minneapolis’ progressive activists, and ultimately the Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party.
The fraud scandals that would subsequently emerge, presided over by that party’s leader, Gov. Tim Walz, it turns out, would implicate not only Omar, but several Omar associates, and a whole slew of other prominent officials; all of them Democrats or Democrat-appointed.
✪ The Feeding Our Future Fraud Scandal
This was illustrated in spades just in the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scandal. That scheme saw more than 250 ostensible meal sites crop up, sponsored by the Minneapolis-based nonprofit of that name, to purportedly serve 125 million meals to poor kids unable to receive school lunch during the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns.
The “providers” allegedly sought and received millions of dollars in reimbursement for meals they never served; the nonprofit organization allegedly claimed millions more dollars in fraudulent administrative fees; its employees allegedly received bribes and kickbacks from the fake vendors. A significant percentage of the stolen funds ended up laundered through shell companies, spent lavishly on houses, cars, and clothes, and remitted overseas.
Omar introduced the bill that enabled the food-related scam. She held or participated in events at the Somali-owned Safari restaurant which was allegedly Ground Zero for the fraud; including filming a video there touting the program itself. As reported, based on a review of state and federal campaign finance filings, the congresswoman appears to have received nearly $14,000 in campaign contributions from almost a dozen individuals prosecuted or implicated in that fraud; most coming during the 2021 primary cycle, subsequent to when Congress passed the legislation facilitating the fraud.
One donor included a reported associate, a felon who is purported to have served as the “muscle” for her 2016 campaign for state office. The Federal Government also introduced into evidence a number of contacts between Omar’s office and those implicated in the fraud in the central Feeding Our Future case.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison likewise collected $10,000 in campaign contributions from individuals tied to the Feeding Our Future fraud. Those contributions came just days after a December 2021 meeting he took with several future defendants, who pleaded with him to help fend off various state agencies scrutinizing their operations; with at least one participant claiming probes were rooted in racism. The audio recording suggests Ellison pledged his support.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also reportedly received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from those implicated in the fraud. Mayor Frey’s former Senior Policy aide, Abdi Nur Salah, allegedly registered a non-profit implicated in the Feeding Our Future scandal, and was prosecuted and pled guilty to wire fraud in connection therewith. Two other appointees, Sharmarke Issa, tabbed to chair the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, and Abdikadir Ainanshe Mohamud, assigned to the Minneapolis Community Safety Workgroup, have also pled guilty to fraud-related offenses.
The wife of a member of the city’s council, Jamal Osman, operated an allegedly fraudulent meal site that took in $460,000 in reimbursements under the program. Osman would reportedly describe his own lobbying on behalf of the program during a June 2021 party celebrating a Feeding Our Future legal victory of the state’s education department. It had been working at the time to cease payments to the program.
Featured at that party was State Senator Omar Fateh. Fateh reportedly told the crowd that he had lobbied Gov. Tim Walz on behalf of the program, and denounced agencies’ scrutiny of the program. Fateh would reportedly receive $11,000 in campaign contributions from figures tied to the scandal.
And of course, the Feeding Our Future fraud and now series of related welfare frauds would persist under the non-watchful eye of the Walz administration — an administration that, alongside Ellison, allegedly ignored warnings of widespread fraud, allowed it to persist, and retaliated against whistleblowers.
Minnesota Democrats’ nexus to this one fraudulent scheme is just the tip of the iceberg.
✪ The State’s Machine Politics
What emerges is a picture of the Minnesota’s Blue Model: Democrats embraced the Somali population; firmly integrated community members into its political hierarchy; backed programs that would sustain the population; enabled that population to defraud said programs to further enrich it — a form of tribute; and, through negligence or malice, permitted the fraud to persist. In turn, the Somali community provide votes and campaign contributions.
Along the way, others profited pursuant to this system, including associated nonprofit organizations, accountants, lawyers, and secondary and tertiary beneficiaries of the fraud scheme.
This model represents an updated form of Tammany-style machine politics — adopted for the modern welfare state, put on steroids by the lax immigration policies that have plagued our country for decades, and facilitated by, among others, nongovernmental organizations serving as administrative state cutouts. There remain many powerful reasons for Democrats and regime media to operate as they are today.
Democrats no doubt consider it imperative to downplay, suppress, and divert our gaze from the mounting Minnesota mess because it could prove politically and legally catastrophic for the state’s culpable Democrat-Farmer-Labor ruling class. Efforts by embattled Gov. Walz and Mayor Frey to try and gin up a George Floyd 2.0 crisis following an ICE agent’s fatal shooting of an alleged anti-ICE instigator that sped her SUV at him may well be part of an interference campaign; notwithstanding that the Trump Administration surged ICE into Minnesota in part in response to the Democrat-driven frauds and its sanctuary policies.
For much of the local and certainly national media, they too have an incentive to spike the scandals. This is not only on account of their partisanship, but because they have in large part served as co-conspirators alongside Minnesota’s political class in a grand conspiracy of silence. Many chose not to pursue the various fraud threads and break the stories out of the Twin Cities box. The efforts of Nick Shirley, Chris Rufo, and Armin Rosen to bring the scandals to national attention now — building on yearslong yeoman efforts of Scott Johnson and Powerline, Bill Glahn and the Center for the American Experiment, Alpha News, and others — embarrasses their media counterparts and is an indictment of said counterparts’ efforts.
However, efforts to stop the bleeding regarding the Minnesota fraud also may serve a deeper purpose. Exposing Minnesota’s model could lead to national contagion. Under legal, political, and media scrutiny, what will we find in other blue states regarding the defrauding of other government programs, and the nexus between their own political classes and the beneficiaries of those systems — native and immigrant, legal and illegal?
Such scrutiny could threaten not only Democrats’ midterm election prospects, and perhaps those of its 2028 presidential contenders, but also the party’s entire modus operandi. ✪

MARK CARNEY DECLARES NEW WORLD ORDER IN TURN TO CHINA

anadian Prime Minister Mark Carney declared a “new world order” during a friendly visit to China on Thursday where he also praised the “leadership of President Xi Jinping.”
Carney’s multi-day visit to the U.S. adversary kicked off Wednesday. He is expected to attend a lunch with Xi on Friday. Ahead of his anticipated meeting with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader, Carney, flanked by other Canadian politicians, hailed the “progress” the United States’ northern neighbor made in its “partnership” with China over the past several years.
“Mine is the first visit of a Canadian Prime Minister to China in nearly a decade,” stated Carney, who was seated alongside Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and Canadian Minister of Industry Mélanie Joly.
Mark Carney talking in China:
“The world has changed much since that last visit, I believe the progress that we have made in the partnership sets us up well for the new world order. I believe the progress we have made and the partnership sets us up well for the new world order.”
Also during his Beijing trip, Carney told Zhao Leji, the third-highest ranking member of the CCP:
“We’re heartened by the leadership of President Xi Jinping and the speed with which our relationship has progressed. It sets the stage for these important discussions on a wide range of issues where we can be strategic partners from energy to agriculture, to people-to-people ties, multilateralism, to issues on security.”
Meanwhile, Carney told Chinese Premier Li Qiang — the second-highest ranking member of the CCP behind Xi and ahead of Zhao — that “together,” Canada and China are bringing their relationship “back toward where it should be,” according to Reuters.
Anand, Canada’s top diplomat, told reporters during the China visit that Canada has “a new government with a new prime minister, a new foreign policy, and a new geopolitical environment,” the New York Times reported.
Anand, a member of Carney’s Liberal Party who holds a position roughly equivalent to the U.S. Secretary of State, added that “it is necessary for us [Canada] to diversify our trading partners, and to grow non-U. S. trade, by at least 50 percent over the next 10 years.”
Carney succeeds fellow Liberal Justin Trudeau, Canada’s prime minister of 10 years, in March 2025. He went on to win reelection, despite the Conservative Party making gains, the following month; after running a campaign strongly based around attacking President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada.
The Liberal Carney has served as the Governor of the Bank of England and the Governor of the Bank of Canada for a combined 12 years. ✪

DON SURBER: WHAT TRUMP WANTS FROM GREENLAND

eee
he USA has been defending Greenland longer than Denmark because on August 9, 1940, the Danes fought the Germans valiantly for 6 hours but threw in the towel because Denmark did not want to be annihilated. The Danes were in this position because while the Germans built up their military after the Great War ended, the rest of the countries that make up the western portion of today’s EU did not.
A year to the date after the surrender, Danish Ambassador Henrik Kauffmann (acting independently) signed an Agreement Relating to the Defense of Greenland with U.S. Secretary of State Cordell Hull. To paraphrase Groucho Marx, remember, we were fighting for their honor, which probably was more than they ever did.
Foolishly, we let Denmark keep Greenland after the war despite its strategic location in the Cold War.
President Trump wants to correct that mistake because if we are going to be Greenland’s defenders, we need to get something more than just a few igloos and the cost of being its military.
Greenland has not been a very good guardian of the natives, who call themselves the Kalaallit. They are 85% of the population.
On September 25, the New York Times reported, “Denmark Forced Contraception on Greenlandic Girls, a Scathing Report Confirms.”
The story said, “In the 1960s and 1970s, and to a lesser degree in the decades that followed, Danish doctors implanted IUDs in thousands of Greenlandic women and girls, in many cases without their permission.“
“It was part of an official government campaign, carried out by Denmark for decades, that was intended to control the growth of Greenland’s population.“
“The scandal stands as a painful symbol of what Greenlanders consider generations of mistreatment by the Danes, and the report’s findings come at a delicate time.”
On Tuesday, Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen told reporters in Copenhagen, “If we have to choose between the United States and Denmark here and now, we choose Denmark. We choose NATO. We choose the Kingdom of Denmark. We choose the EU.”
Nielsen was born in Greenland but is not a Kalaallit. But liberals assure us that colonialism was evil in America and South Africa, but not Greenland.
After centuries of blessed neglect and occasional cruelty, the Danes are talking about battling America, which is a NATO ally. Oh, let’s be candid. The USA is NATO. We created NATO as an excuse to put our military on our side of the Iron Curtain.
Naturally, libs side with Denmark because they have all the patriotism of Benedict Arnold. CBS tweeted:
“Though President Trump mocked Greenland’s increased defense as ‘an extra dog sled,’ the Danish kingdom has plans for more Arctic naval vessels, long-range Arctic drones and the option to buy American F-35 fighter jets. NATO allies are also sending troops to Greenland now for a hastily-arranged military exercise as Arctic security heats up.”
Has plans. I have plans of buying a Bentley. You see how that works?
Denmark should be proud of its Sirius Dog Sled Patrol. It is as underappreciated as a winter sunset. Its official history says:
“After the end of World War II, the escalation of the Cold War soon led to a desire for improved, systematized surveillance of North and North-East Greenland. The Navy, which is responsible for monitoring Greenland, recommended the creation of a military sledge patrol. The Danish government endorsed the proposal, and in 1950, in the greatest secret—in the direction of the Navy—one created a sledge patrol under the name Operation Resolut. The patrol was born on August 18, 1950. It was the day that the crew was first assembled at Ella Island Patrol’s base the first year.”
Meanwhile, in 1943. America built what is now called the Pituffik Space Base (formerly Thune Air Base).
Vigilant Fox tweeted with video:
Bill O’Reilly explains what Trump is really after in his “secret” meeting with Danish officials over Greenland. Trump knows the American people won’t back an invasion of Greenland, but he believes Marco Rubio will get the Danes to deliver “what we want.” And what we want is a “submarine base in Greenland.”O’Reilly is confident that “we’ll get it.”
Now then, ask not what America can do for Greenland. Ask what Greenland can do for America. Plenty.
Greenland is strategic militarily in the fight to control the Arctic and it has the eighth-largest reserve of rare earth elements in the world (the USA ranks ninth). That’s just what can be mined today in Greenland. Estimates are that it has 24 times as large a reserve under the ice. The reserves go untapped because of Greenland’s 2021 ban on mining uranium.
What can America do for Greenland? Plenty more such as developing its economy and protecting it from Russia and Red China. ✪
▶️ MUSLIM STUDENT CLUB PROMOTES TERRORISM AT SCHOOL FAIR

MUSLIM STUDENT CLUB PROMOTES TERRORISM AT SCHOOL FAIR

lll
issahickon High School in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, has come under well-deserved criticism after it was revealed that the Muslim Student Association was allowed to display pro-terrorist messaging and propaganda at the school cultural fair.
Located in a suburb of Philadelphia, Wissahickon holds an annual Language and Culture Fair which took place on November 24th of last year. Amid the colorful booths dedicated to the Jewish Student Union and the Italian Club, the school chapter of the Muslim Students Association chose to politicize their booth and use it to propagandize for Hamas and the destruction of the Jewish state.
The MSA booth featured numerous large Palestinian flags that dwarfed all other messaging, including one hung vertically behind the booth and another running horizontally along the full length of the table used for the display. The posterboard background for the booth featured another Palestinian flag with only tiny images of flags from numerous Muslim countries below, indicating a disturbing emphasis on the Hamas-led region which invaded and massacred over a thousand innocent Israelis on October 7, instead of the approximately 50 Muslim-majority nations in the world.
Several students at the booth were wearing keffiyehs, black and white checked scarfs that are closely associated with Hamas terrorism. Other students visiting the booth, many of whom were unaware of the keffiyeh’s symbolic meaning, were encouraged to try on the pro-terror accoutrement for themselves. Rewards for playing games at the booth, including candy and small amounts of money, were offered to entice students to approach.
Even more disturbing was the shawl adorning one student whose Arabic caption stated, “Jerusalem is Ours,” a political claim denying Israel’s historic ties to the Jewish people and signaling support for Hamas’ genocidal intentions to annihilate the Jewish state.
Instead of halting this despicable display of pro-terrorist sentiment, school administrators who were present at the festival made no objection whatsoever. Wissahickon High School Principal Dr. Lynne Blair even posed for photos at the booth which were shared on her official school social media account. District Superintendent, Mwenyewe Dawan, and Assistant Superintendent, Sean Gardiner, were also present at the event and posted photos of the booth without raising any objections.
“My child came home shaken and unsure of whether it’s even safe to speak up as a Jew at school,” Lynn Simon, the parent of a child in the district, told Fox News.
While Jewish students were disturbed by the pro-terror MSA booth, the school’s initial messaging about the fair gave no indication of any controversy. “Shoutout to the WHS World Language Department on another fabulous Language & Culture Fair!” cheered a Facebook post on the school district’s official account. “Student affinity groups joined the fair, highlighting the many ways students can connect, build community, and learn together. What an amazing day of discovery and celebration!”
The post from the school district noted that not only high schoolers but also elementary school and middle school students participated in the fair, exposing students as young as ten to the politicized content.
The school district’s tone only changed after dozens of Jewish parents co-signed a letter to District Superintendent Dawan charging that the MSA booth “crossed clear educational and ethical boundaries.”
“Students visiting the Muslim Student Association booth were encouraged to wear keffiyehs, a symbol that in the current global climate is widely associated not only with cultural heritage but with political movements, hostility toward Israel, and in many contexts open expressions of anti-Jewish sentiment,” stated the letter, which charged that Dawan spent a large amount of time at the MSA booth yet took no action to impede the intimidation of Jewish students that was occurring in front of her.
“For many Jewish students, this was not experienced as a cultural gesture — it was experienced as political signaling from the highest authority in the district,” the letter added.
As for the scarf claiming “Jerusalem is Ours,” the Jewish parents correctly labeled it a “political claim that denies Jewish history, identity, and connection to Israel’s capital” noting that “This is messaging commonly used in extremist and anti-normalization movements.”
“For a school leader to publicly endorse this imagery, even indirectly, is profoundly inappropriate and sends a chilling message to Jewish students: your history and identity are contested here, and the people in authority are comfortable amplifying those who contest it,” the letter stated.
Forced by the letter and resulting media coverage to confront the allegations, Superintendent Dawan issued a lengthy statement, acknowledging that “Several parents and community members reported that certain images and activities at the fair were antisemitic, and shared that some of our Jewish students feel unsafe or marginalized” but immediately countering this narrative by claiming that the resulting conversations “have become inflammatory and included threats toward students and staff” which “has resulted in some of our Muslim students reporting that they are feeling unsafe or marginalized.”
Dawan continued to parrot this “both sides” narrative, stating that “for many elements of the fair, multiple realities can coexist. A symbol that may reflect cultural pride and belonging for some may evoke pain, fear, or political association for others.”
It will likely surprise no one that Wissahickon is the same school district that was recently forced to fire one of its elementary school principals after he was accidentally recorded on a parent’s voicemail expressing blatantly anti-Semitic sentiments including “They have that Jew money” and “They control the banks, y’know.”
The U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce is currently investigating the neighboring Philadelphia school district to determine “whether there was or is a hostile environment against Jewish K-12 students.” Given recent events in the Wissahickon district, the committee ought to expand their focus to include Philly’s neighbor to the north. ✪

HAKEEM JEFFRIES JUST CROSSED A DANGEROUS LINE

ouse Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries just fired a warning shot at the entire Trump Administration, and it’s the kind of threat that ought to make every American nervous about what Democrats have in mind if they ever claw their way back to power.
▶️ 38 Seconds
This week on Fox News, Trump advisor Stephen Miller reminded ICE agents that the law is on their side. He said:
“To all ICE officers: You have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties. Anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop you or tries to obstruct you is committing a felony. You have immunity to perform your duties, and no one—no city official, no state official, no illegal alien, no leftist agitator or domestic insurrectionist—can prevent you from fulfilling your legal obligations and duties. And the Department of Justice has made clear that if officials cross that line into obstruction, into criminal conspiracy against the United States or against ICE officers, then they will face justice.”
It was a simple, clear, factual message, informing them that no matter how much the left attacks them, the Trump Administration stands with them. But Jeffries was so triggered by Miller’s message that he wrote a response on X, and it was rather chilling. Jeffries wrote:
“To all members of the Trump administration, the incitement and engagement in state violence against the American people is a serious crime. Donald Trump will leave office long before the five-year statute of limitations expires. You are hereby put on notice.”
That wasn’t an empty threat; he means it, and it would be a mistake not to believe he was serious. Hakeem Jeffries literally threatened ICE agents and Trump Administration officials with future prosecution for doing their jobs and enforcing the law.

Let’s keep something in mind here. It’s Democrats who are inciting violence by calling ICE agents Trump’s Gestapo and accusing them of crimes. Democrats may not like that immigration law is being enforced again, but the law is the law. If they don’t like it, they can try to change the law.
He doubled down at a press briefing, repeating his threats and making it crystal clear that Democrats are planning to wage lawfare against Trump officials and ICE agents when they return to power. Jeffries continued:
“So every single one of these people who we see brutalizing the American people, they’re gonna be held accountable one way or the other, accordance with the law. And the statute of limitations, this is for every single member of the Trump administration, is five years. Donald Trump will be long gone, left 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, statute of limitations will be alive and well. And there’ll be a lot of people in this country, patriotic people determined to make sure those who broke the law with impunity during the Trump Administration are held accountable.”
Make no mistake about it, Jeffries’ threats show exactly what Democrats plan to do if they win back Congress in 2026 or the White House in 2028. It’s the same thing they did after Trump left in 2021. They’re not hiding it. They are going to try to put people in jail for having the audacity to enforce immigration law. ✪

TAIWAN SEMICONDUCTOR PACT TO BOLSTER US MANUFACTURING

pppp
he United States and Taiwan finalized a trade agreement today which channels massive investments into American semiconductor production; a move that counters decades of supply chain vulnerabilities exposed by overseas dependence. Taiwanese firms have pledged at least $250 billion in direct investments for expanding chip fabs, energy projects, and AI initiatives on US soil, with Taiwan’s government backing another $250 billion in credit guarantees to fuel the entire ecosystem.
This deal arrives at a critical juncture, as tensions with China continue to simmer and threaten Taiwan’s dominance in advanced chipmaking. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world’s leading producer of cutting-edge semiconductors, stands at the forefront. Recent reports indicate TSMC has already acquired hundreds of acres in Arizona to scale up operations, signaling a shift away from concentrated production in Asia.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick detailed the stakes in a CNBC interview: “They just bought hundreds of acres adjacent to their property. I’ll let them go through with their board and give them time.” He added that companies opting out of US builds could face steep penalties, noting, “Taiwan-based chip companies that don’t build in the US are likely to face a 100% tariff.”
The agreement caps tariffs on Taiwanese imports at 15%, with exemptions for key sectors like pharmaceuticals and aircraft parts. Future tariff structures will favor firms that establish US manufacturing, tying duty-free access to proven domestic expansions. This framework aims to reclaim a larger slice of global semiconductor output for America, which plummeted from 37% in 1990 to below 10% by 2024 due to relentless offshoring.
Lutnick outlined the ambitious goal: bring 40% of Taiwan’s semiconductor supply chain stateside. He expressed confidence in TSMC’s role, saying the company is expected “to come in huge, bigger — you’ve seen reports on possibly doubling in size.”
Beyond the numbers, this pact addresses deeper economic frailties. Reliance on foreign semiconductors has left the US exposed to disruptions, whether from natural disasters, pandemics, or geopolitical maneuvers. China’s aggressive posture toward Taiwan raises alarms—analysts warn that a blockade or invasion could halt global chip supplies, crippling industries from automotive to defense. A 2025 Bloomberg report estimated such a scenario could shave trillions off the world economy, with the US bearing a heavy load.
Skeptics point to hidden forces at play. For years, multinational corporations and policymakers pushed manufacturing abroad under the guise of efficiency, but critics argue this was a deliberate strategy to erode American self-sufficiency. Leaked documents from think tanks like the World Economic Forum have fueled theories that global elites prioritized cheap labor over national security, leaving economies teetering on the edge of collapse.
Yet this deal flips the script. By incentivizing reshoring, it promises job creation in states like Arizona and Texas, where TSMC and others are already building fabs. A Reuters analysis from early 2026 projects thousands of high-skilled positions, boosting local economies and reducing unemployment risks tied to import dependencies.
Market reactions were swift. TSMC shares climbed 3% on the news, while US chip stocks like Intel and Nvidia saw gains amid optimism for a more balanced supply chain. However, challenges remain: construction delays, skilled labor shortages, and environmental hurdles have plagued similar projects, as noted in a recent Wall Street Journal piece on Arizona’s water usage debates.
In the broader picture, this agreement serves as a bulwark against potential economic unraveling. With inflation pressures lingering from supply shocks and debt levels soaring, fortifying domestic production could stabilize prices and shield against foreign manipulations. As one industry insider put it in a Seeking Alpha commentary, the real win is “reclaiming control before the next crisis hits.”
While no panacea, the US-Taiwan pact marks a tangible effort to rebuild what was lost, ensuring America’s technological edge in an increasingly uncertain world. ✪
