cross Texas, something deeply troubling is taking shape: a quiet but deliberate transformation of our communities, institutions and values under the guise of “religious freedom.” What’s happening isn’t random. It’s not isolated. It’s part of a calculated strategy that’s now impossible to ignore. A strategy using America’s own Constitution as a weapon.

The most glaring example? A 402-acre master plan near Josephine, Texas, known as EPIC City. Marketed as a peaceful, self-sustained Muslim community, its design is far more ambitious: a mosque, school system, senior housing, a college, commercial centers; even Sharia law offices which align with Islamic legal doctrine. Over a thousand homes, all structured under the banner of a singular religious identity. The project’s ideological architect, Yasir Qadhi; a name familiar to many of us who have long warned about his agenda, is openly calling it “EPIC 1.0” and “2.0” with the goal of making this model replicable across all of North America.

Retired Plano Police Lieutenant Douglas Deaton has exposed a disturbing reality: EPIC’s Sharia-controlled enclave in Plano isn’t some future vision; it already exists. For nearly 12 years, EPIC has operated a religiously exclusive neighborhood comprising 74 homes, a sprawling mosque, Islamic schools, a medical clinic, and Sharia-compliant financial services. Most alarming, the enclave includes a fortress-like residence constructed directly beside the Plano Police Academy; strategically positioned to overlook restricted law enforcement areas and tactical assets. They’re not hiding—they operating out in plain sight. And no one is doing anything to stop them.

What began as a modest community mosque has transformed into a 76,000-square-foot Islamic compound/complex, making it one of the largest in Texas. Its main prayer hall alone spans 33,000 square feet and can accommodate over 3,200 worshippers. The sprawling campus also includes an entire Islamic school, a multi-purpose hall, youth indoctrination spaces, and Sharia-compliant classrooms; all designed to reinforce Islamic norms and community control.

Over the years, EPIC has established significant political and financial influence, positioning itself as far more than just a mosque. It has become a hub for ideological control and community structuring, using its infrastructure to advance Sharia-based systems nested within a Western civic framework.

Now, EPIC is under intense public scrutiny for its latest and most ambitious project: the construction of EPIC City—a massive, Sharia-adherent residential and commercial enclave being developed nearly 40 minutes from its current Plano headquarters.

EPIC City is not just a housing development. It is a deliberate blueprint for a self-contained Islamic community, built around Sharia principles and insulated from public oversight. The 402-acre project will include over 1,000 homes, a mega-mosque, an Islamic school, retail centers, and senior housing—all structured to function within an Islamic legal and social framework.

Lt. Deaton explained that the new 402-acre project—located just 30 minutes from downtown Dallas and branded as a “faith-friendly master-planned community” is simply a scaled-up version of what EPIC has already built in Plano: a closed, religiously exclusive neighborhood anchored by a mosque, Islamic school, medical clinic, commercial businesses, and Sharia-based financial institutions.

EPIC City, he warned, is designed to take that model and amplify it: creating a much larger, autonomous Islamic enclave operating far outside traditional civic accountability.

The project’s financial and operational structure is controlled by Community Capital Partners, a for-profit investment group formed by EPIC leadership. Public statements from those behind the project have emphasized selective sales practices and religious alignment, prompting serious legal and ethical concerns over compliance with Fair Housing laws and Texas anti-BDS statutes.

However, this isn’t just about real estate. It’s about parallel governance. And they’re not hiding it anymore.

According to Lt. Deaton, the existing enclave in Plano surrounding the EPIC mosque includes 74 homes, a large mosque, Islamic schools (here and here), a medical clinic, and businesses—all within a neighborhood where only Muslims who are members of EPIC are allowed to purchase homes. He stated that he knew this firsthand: “I dealt with them regularly when I worked for the Plano Police Department.”

He testified that this policy is widely known among local officials and police, yet no action has been taken to investigate whether this violates federal Fair Housing laws, which prohibit religious discrimination in housing.

Lt. Deaton describes the financing arm present in the Plano neighborhood; UIF Corporation, aa a Michigan-based financial firm with a branch on site; stating it engages exclusively in Sharia-compliant transactions. According to the company’s own public statements, its business model is based on avoiding traditional interest-bearing loans, in favor of Islamic financial instruments that comply with Sharia. Lt. (Ret.) Deaton said, emphasizing that these are the company’s own words, not his:

“The UIF Corporation is not a bank. It’s a Michigan-based corporation whose publicly stated purpose is to, quote, ‘engage in financial transactions that are Sharia compliant.’”

Sharia finance is not just about avoiding interest; it is about imposing a religious legal system. Under Islamic law, interest (riba) is forbidden, and all financial transactions must comply with Sharia’s religious code. This means that every contract, loan, or business deal must align with Islamic values and restrictions; including prohibitions on alcohol, pork, gambling and even investments in conventional Western banks. In effect, Sharia-compliant finance is the economic arm of Islamic governance, enforcing religious laws in everyday commerce and quietly building parallel systems that reject core principles of Western secularism, such as equal treatment under one uniform legal code.

According to UIF’s own website, the company’s operations are overseen by a Sharia Supervisory Board tasked with ensuring compliance with Islamic law. Their fatawa (legal rulings) and financial practices are publicly outlined on their Sharia compliance page, which states:

Embrace Sharia Compliance: Approved Faith-Based Financing Programs. Our products strictly adhere to faith-based financing principles, receiving full approval from our independent Sharia Supervisory Board.

During a recent segment on Brannon Howse Live, we examined footage of Islamic schools in Texas that teach skewed geopolitical narratives, including maps that effectively erase Israel, labeling the entire region “Palestine.” Boys and girls separated. Hijabs mandatory. And the teachings go far beyond religion — they push a worldview that prioritizes Islamic law, Sharia, over American principles.

While they build, they also infiltrate; demanding curriculum changes in public schools, fighting for Islamic holidays in school calendars and even leveraging county and city officials, including the mayor of Plano, to normalize this takeover as “interfaith collaboration.” However, this isn’t really about faith. It’s about power.

Let’s be brutally honest: Islamists are using our freedoms to gain control and silence resistance. Free speech? They weaponize it to promote intolerance under the banner of tolerance. Freedom of religion? They invoke it to demand special privileges; while marginalizing every other belief system that doesn’t align. And anyone who speaks up? Labeled “Islamophobic,” smeared, threatened, even hunted.

They know exactly what they’re doing. They are using the First Amendment as a weapon to destroy the First Amendment. It’s a tactic of patience, discipline, and long-term infiltration. As Dr. Bill Warner has often said, Islam teaches its followers to play the long game. And they are.

The silence is deafening. In fact, worse than silence; it’s complicity. Some of the biggest enablers and supporters of this movement aren’t progressives, but apostate Christians. Institutions like the Southern Baptist Convention have filed legal briefs to defend mosque-building initiatives in places like New Jersey and Tennessee. They’re pushing “interfaith dialogue,” oblivious or unwilling to recognize as they open their arms, they’re welcoming a movement that seeks to replace the very freedoms allowing them to exist.

I lived in Dallas for most of 2023 and I saw it with my own eyes: Islamic schools, law centers and cultural enclaves growing block by block. This didn’t start yesterday. It’s been going on for over a decade, largely unnoticed, while Americans were being lectured to “respect diversity, be tolerant” and “coexist.”

Now the movement is becoming even bolder than ever. With over 260 Sharia-aligned Muslims already elected to office in this country; and projections showing that number will climb toward 300 by 2026, we’re facing something far more dangerous than just “cultural differences.” This is political Islam. Organized. Funded. Protected by lawfare. And it will not stop at Texas.

Tennessee is next. Florida is also on the list of future conquests. The reason they’re growing in these areas is simple: affordability, low regulation and the tragic gullibility of well-meaning but uninformed Americans who still think “this could never happen here.” Well, it is happening here.

This isn’t fear mongering or gaslighting. This isn’t about Muslims peacefully practicing their religion under Constitutional protections of “freedom of religion.” It’s about the growth & expansion of an Islamist ideology which seeks to replace the Constitution with a system which embodies the antithesis of liberty. And they’re not hiding their agenda. They are telling us outright to our faces. They are writing it. They are building it.

We must stop pretending that silence equivocated to peace because it doesn’t. Silence equals surrender and will certainly be interpreted as such. Our laws already prohibit the practice of foreign legal systems like Sharia in U.S. jurisdictions. However laws mean nothing if no one acts to enforce them. Right now, we face a political class more concerned with being liked than being right. Tweets won’t save Texas. Hashtags won’t save America. Only action will.
