Of course, many will come from the mouths of the Elite who stand to gain much more from AI than the common man; and sadly, the ordinary citizen will be coerced to go along with the scheme, the Grand Illusion.

Artificial Intelligence, and all the insidious evils which it spawns, is now the most obvious example. The evangelical swill spilling forth from the mouths of the technological and political “leaders” about our bright & shining AI future are enough to make a pig choke.

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai claims AI “has the potential to be more transformative than electricity or fire.” Melinda Gates says it will finally solve poverty, climate change, social inequity and disease. Alas, specific details on how this is all supposed to occur are scarce; but don’t worry as I’m certain our betters will let us know along the way exactly what is expected of us. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer thinks it won’t be any problem for us to retain our Humanity, because AI will in fact, “make us more human.”

Excuse me, more human? More human than what? What is that even supposed to mean? Is there something else which has made us all less human, Keir? What’s the dehumanizing element of our current arrangement? Please inform us, Keir.

The idea that over-saturating our world with excessive technology will somehow unleash our buried or suppressed humanity is, (sorry to employ such an over-used word), god-level gaslighting. It’s an affront to our basic intelligence as a species to suggest the essence of our humanity can be found, defined or freed by machines, rather than by us ourselves.

Make no mistake; AI is not coming to save us from ourselves. AI is coming to blur every boundary we’ve ever known between what’s real and fake, authentic and artificial, true and false. And if you’ve probably haven’t yet noticed, many people are already finding it tough enough to make those precise distinctions even before AI is completely rolled out.

You may also have noticed despite all the big talk & promotion, no one seems very clear on any of the details. Or more importantly, the how of it all. And nobody is talking about any of the potential costs of the coming AI revolution; social, cultural, political, economic & spiritual costs. Because I can assure you, AI is not going to come free.

When we cut through all of the preaching and bullshit, the bottom line is AI can’t make us any more human than we already are. No technology can do that and to make any such claims is completely dishonest & absurd.

We won’t be made more human by a cold and inhuman system of technology whose source code is based on extraction, conformity & exploitation. Because this is exactly what makes us less human, Kier.

AI is not a n entirely brand new model of conscious hierarchy. It’s just yet another tool to be embedded within the current, neo-liberal, political hegemony and utilized to serve its masters.

AI might eliminate your job but it won’t shorten your workday. The greater probability is it will still be used as a stick to beat you instead of some magical panacea which frees you from all the stress of being responsible for your own life. Why aren’t you more productive, Nate, given how you now have this fabulous AI assistant? I’ve already heard from a white-collar friend how AI is great but “it only works if you know how to correctly prompt it.” Doesn’t exactly sound like a brave new world to me…

The AI machine exists purely to optimize and augment your labor; and if it’s not doing that optimally, that’s only because you are not doing it right. The machine won’t ever be blamed, but you will because there is already some strange collective supposition AI is omniscient, infallible and never makes mistakes. That’s because in truth it lacks a soul; it’s cold and mechanical regardless of whatever name you give it.

Staying human under conditions such as these will require extra effort, is taking extra effort. And many people are poised to fully embrace their new AI future, without ever knowing they will be compromising their Humanity.

Staying human in the future will require more vigilance, integrity and tenacity. It will require developing a finely-tuned, internal bullshit detector; the ability to discern between what’s real and what’s not; between lies and truth.

We’ve already had plenty of practice with this. The future will be replete with even more opportunities to tune that detector. Examples are to be found everywhere because the future is now.

In Gaza, a group of terrorists claiming to be a “government” steals food out of the mouths of the same people they claim to represent in an imaginary country which really does not exist. Terror bases there are disguised as schools and hospitals.

A pandemic created to drive the entire world towards being inoculated with an experimental bio-genetic agent touted as a “vaccine” has instead left millions of innocent people dead while the purveyors of the “vaccines” continue to market and profit from them. It’s all political fiction designed to manufacture consent for murder.

The terms have therefore, been seamlessly adopted by the psychological conditioning of mainstream imperial discourse. And, in the future, whenever the language isn’t backwards and the encouragement to abandon humanity don’t specifically mention progress, they will come wrapped in the language of being necessary evils.

An X user tracked down an AI document issued by the NHS (National Health Service) in England, which details protocols for handling future pandemics. The document already concludes “it will not be possible to halt the spread of a new pandemic virus, and it would be a waste of public health resources and capacity to attempt to do so.” It suggests there is no point modeling possible scenarios, because, meh, who knows what’ll actually happen? Do we really need a machine to tell us this?

This sort of thing is an invitation to abandon our humanity if ever I’ve seen. This represents the total collapse of the idea, let alone the institutions, of public health. “A waste of public health resources” is barely disguised code for “Next time,we won’t be spending money to keep people alive.’“

The truth is, the lesson most governments concluded from covid is that letting the old and weak die is better for their over-bloated socialist systems. In the long run, it saves money they would rather spend on other things. The lesson we, the lumpen proles, should have drawn from covid is that we are expendable, especially when it saves the system money or directly profits those who own the system.

However, many people, prompted by and indoctrinated by a relentless gaslighting campaign, still drew the opposite conclusions. Many concluded we are islands of individual libertarian autonomy responsible for everyone else’s health but our own. If you refused to conform without question, it’s because you’re a bad person who doesn’t care about other people. Who can forget?

We are still experiencing the poisoned fruits of these evil distortions of truth and reality today as one of the worst flu seasons in decades rages through the northern hemisphere. Considered a generally more severe type of flu than covid ever really was. This particular strain of flu has rendered both vaccines (manufactured for this season back in Spring before mutations), and our antibodies from previous flu infections, far less effective. In response, some health authorities in the UK and Europe are once again “strongly” recommending masks in hospitals and health centers, although it has already been established as common public knowledge that wearing a mask is completely ineffective at slowing or stopping the transmission of viruses.

Whether it’s flu or the next big pandemic our Elites salivate over, covid helped to embed eugenics into the collective consciousness of public health policy. The inconveniences in the face of a public health crisis were too inconvenient. Trust the science really means trust us, so listen to us and do exactly as we say if you want to live. In fact, you’ll be punished if you don’t.

Staying human in the future will mean being able to see this form of manipulative sciencism coming and rejecting it. The general idea is none will be allowed to refuse the voice of our AI master. Staying human will require the rejection of eugenics-inspired policies presented as “solutions.” The demands to see X or Y group as expendable will be unceasing, especially when finances and money become influential parts of the equation.

Staying human will require us to put all the pieces together. It will require knowing when you are being sacrificed for a problem which really doesn’t exist; whether it be for the weather or so that we can all agree men really can have babies.

Staying Human will require we understand ourselves much better, instead of abandoning the responsibility of our own legacy by running to hide in the empty solace of allowing machines to finally do all our thinking for us. That is not the path to freedom. And it will also require we cultivate more joy, beauty, truth and love in our lives.

Because while the future will most certainly be full of more bullshit, gaslighting, and demands to abandon our humanity, it is still largely unwritten. The future can still be ours and still stay human.✪
