Commentary: Donald Trump Is An American Hero & The Leftist Legacy Media Is The Enemy Of The People

hen tragic events occur, it is important not to rush to judgment or cast aspersions before all of the facts are known. It only creates more chaos and more division and leads to conspiracy theories.

However as the facts continue to unfold in the aftermath of the appalling and chilling assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump’s life by a deranged lunatic on July 13th at a rally in Butler, PA—which sadly resulted in the death of a former fire chief—there is one fact we can be certain of.

Trump was correct all along when he said that the media is “the enemy of the People.” They were the enemy of the People when they lied for years about Trump colluding with the Russian government—in order to delegitimize his presidency.

They were the enemy of the People when they made it clear that it was perfectly fine to verbally and physically attack, assault, vilify, destroy, persecute, cancel and harm any individual who supported or associated with Trump—including those who committed the grave sin of wearing a MAGA hat in public.

They were the enemy of the People when they legitimized and encouraged violent Black Lives Matter protests that killed people, destroyed businesses, desecrated public and private property, and slandered law enforcement as “systemically racist.”

They were the enemy of the People when they promoted the unscientific lockdowns that ruined livelihoods, led to suicides, depression, obesity, increased drug overdoses and alcoholism, bankruptcies, poverty, school closures, learning losses, particularly among black and Hispanic students—and so much unnecessary suffering.

They were the enemy of the People when they said no one was allowed to ask any questions about how the 2020 presidential election was conducted—nevermind that it was rife with irregularities and voting security measures that were removed due to “COVID.”

They were the enemy of the People when they exaggerated what happened on January 6 every single day for years—preposterously claiming that it was on par with September 11 and Pearl Harbor—and that Trump was fully responsible for all of it.

They were the enemy of the People when they made it clear they would side with Hamas terrorists over the Jewish state and the only democratic country in the Middle East.

And they were the enemy of the People when they tried to legitimize the most baseless and lawless indictments against Trump—and celebrated the prospect of the former president sitting in a prison cell.

The legacy media does not root for this country’s success. On the contrary, they root for the Democrat Party to stay in power at all costs, no matter how much devastation and despair it may cause the average American citizenry.

But those two outcomes (America’s success and Democrat Party rule) cannot both be achieved simultaneously because there is not a single policy in today’s Democrat Party that is beneficial for the country at large.

Gas prices are through the roof and inflation is soaring due to the left’s war on energy and drunken spending on electric charging stations that we don’t need and aren’t even being built.

The Middle Class is being crushed, but the media doesn’t care because they want the Left to remain in power.

Our country is overflowing with illegal immigrants who unlawfully crossed the southern border; and in some cases, murdered American citizens while receiving tax-funded health care and free housing.

But the media doesn’t care if young women are brutally raped and murdered by illegal migrants because they want the Left to stay in power.

Our military has become woke, ineffective, and missionless, and, not surprisingly, recruitments are down as a result of these DEI policies.

But the media doesn’t care how much of a laughingstock our military has become because they want the Left to stay in power.

As a consequence of the Left’s inability to offer any prescriptions that will actually improve our lives, the entirety of its platform consists of feeding lies about its political opponents to a complicit, corrupt, and anti-American propagandist media that will gleefully parrot any line—no matter how dishonest or nonsensical—about what Republicans supposedly want to do to the people living here.

We are told by our legacy media that Republicans want to prevent black people from voting. Fact check: false.

We are told by our legacy media that Republicans want to prevent women from having access to “health care.” Fact check: false.

We are told by our legacy media that Republicans want to lower taxes for the wealthy and raise taxes on everyone else. Fact check: false.

We are told by our legacy media that Republicans are anti-immigration, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and bigoted. Fact check: false, false and false.

And we have been told relentlessly that the leader of the Republican Party—the 45th president of the United States and the leading candidate to become the 47th President of the United States—not only wants to take away all those aforementioned rights, but that he is Adolf Hitler.

No, actually, he just wants to enact the following policies, which the RNC has adopted as its official platform:

• Close the border and stop the migrant invasion
• Demolish the foreign drug cartels
• Crush gang violence and lock up violent offenders
• End inflation
• Stimulate economic growth
• Eliminate anti-business and anti-competition regulations
• Pass more tax cuts for workers
• Rebuild our cities and make them safe again
• Cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children
• Strengthen and modernize our military
• Stop outsourcing our manufacturing jobs to other countries and turn the United States into a manufacturing superpower
• Prevent World War III; restore peace in Europe and in the Middle East
• And defend our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our fundamental freedoms, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to keep and bear arms.

If any of that sounds like Hitler to you, then I would recommend seeking help immediately and maybe consider visiting the Holocaust Museum before checking into the asylum.

While we watched in horror, shock and sadness as the former president dodged an assassination attempt by mere millimeters and as a fellow Trump supporter, father, husband and God-fearing patriot tragically lost his life—no one should be all that surprised by what we witnessed—given the lies, smears, and falsehoods that the legacy media has peddled about Trump over the past decade.

Even after Trump was nearly killed, the legacy media once again continued to prove how detestable they are.

A CNN reporter had the temerity to say on air that she was alarmed by Trump defiantly, heroically, and courageously pumping his fist—which he did to let his supporters and the country know that he was okay—and that he would never back down or cower in fear.

CNN also ran this disgusting headline: “Secret Service rushes Trump off stage after he falls at rally.”

Meanwhile, the New York Times failed to immediately call what everyone saw with their own eyes—an assassination attempt as clear as day—but they had no problem taking Hamas, a literal terrorist organization, at its word in October when they falsely claimed that Israel had fired at a hospital in Gaza and “killed 500 people.”

And USA Today ran this headline: “Trump removed from stage by Secret Service after loud noises startles former president, crowd.”

As recently as June 28, the current president of the United States said, “Donald Trump is a threat to our freedom, he’s a threat to our democracy, he’s literally a threat for everything America stands for,” all lines that the fear-mongering fourth estate has been all too happy to parrot for years now.

And while Biden has called for peace and unity in his remarks since the assassination attempt—including in a prime-time address from the Oval Office—it is too little, too late. The damage has already been done.

The 45th president and likely 47th president of the United States was nearly killed in front of all of us. But by the grace of God, whether through Divine Intervention or by some other higher power, Trump defiantly lives on, and his legacy only grows stronger.

Trump is an American hero, no thanks to the media.
