The Pure Love Of Christ

⭐️ RailBoss

mmm

e all become frustrated or upset every now and then: perhaps even often. Maybe we don’t see eye to eye with neighbors, coworkers or our friends; or at times, we might be impatient with our children or spouse. We may often find ourselves being critical and judgmental of others.

In this world full of rapid change and much uncertainty, we are all tested to our limits. Of course, no one is perfect, and sometimes, it’s normal to feel this way. But have you ever wondered how you can become more loving and patient toward those around you?

The answer is simple: your heart can be softened through charity, which is a gift from God. Developing charity means becoming more like Jesus Christ: and that’s a lifelong pursuit.

However, your Heavenly Father and your Savior, Jesus Christ, will help you if you faithfully seek to become more like Them.

What Is Charity? Charity is the pure love of Christ. In fact, it’s the highest and strongest form of love. Charity motivates us to serve God and others with all our hearts, might, mind and strength. Charity Is the pure & perfect love of the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for all people.

During his life, Christ showed love and compassion toward the hungry, sinners, the sick and afflicted. He ministered to both the poor and the rich, friends and strangers. He even forgave his accusers and those who crucified Him (see Luke 23:34). Jesus Christ was the ultimate example of perfect love.

The first great commandment of all eternity is to love God with all of our hearts, might, mind and strength. However, the first great truth of all eternity is that God loves us with all his heart, might, mind and strength.

Charity is not something we do or something we give away. It is a state of our heart and a way of life. It’s who we become and what we feel; and it compels us to take loving actions.

Without charity, we are nothing; and with it, we have everything. All other things pass away, but charity never fails and endures forever.

So how do we receive this Heavenly gift? Through prayer to our Father with all the energy of our hearts; that you may be filled with this love, ” that when Jesus Christ shall appear, we may become like him.”

We can learn to practice charity in our relationships, families, church congregations, communities and with everyone we meet. As we strive to accept others for who they are and begin to see them as our Heavenly Father and Christ do, we can begin to love people as They do.

Charity is the antidote for contention. Charity is the spiritual gift which helps us to cast off the natural man who is selfish, defensive, prideful and jealous. Charity is the principal characteristic of a true follower of Jesus Christ. Charity defines a peacemaker.

One of the greatest gifts is also the ability to forgive. Yet another is to ask for forgiveness. Humility and Charity are two sides of the same coin.

I personally ask for your charity and patience with me as we share this path together. May we all be plentiful in sharing all these wonderful gifts with others.

Amen ✪
