Trump Executive Order Calls For Voter Proof Of Citizenship & Paper Ballots

lll
ver four years after the 2020 election was “rigged,” President Donald Trump has issued an executive order to bolster election & voter integrity. Last Tuesday’s executive order tackles some of the most vulnerable aspects of America’s current election system.
The President’s Executive Order specifically states:
“Despite pioneering self-government, the United States now fails to enforce basic and necessary election protections employed by modern, developed nations, as well as those still developing. Free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion are fundamental to maintaining our constitutional Republic. The right of American citizens to have their votes properly counted and tabulated, without illegal dilution, is vital to determining the rightful winner of an election.”
✪ Making Certain Only American Citizens Can Vote
It’s already technically already illegal for noncitizens to register to vote (and vote) in federal elections — but the only thing standing between them and safe and secure elections is a small square box on a federal registration form that requires applicants to attest to their citizenship status under penalty of perjury. However, non-citizens have still managed to vote in federal elections as a result of an unsecured ballot system.
Trump’s executive order states that within 30 days of the proclamation, the “Election Assistance Commission shall take appropriate action to require … documentary proof of United States citizenship …” The order also stipulates that state and local officials must record which type of documentation is used as well as the date such documentation was issued. Some examples of documentary proof of citizenship include a United States passport, a REAL ID that indicates citizenship, a military identification card and a valid federal or state government-issued identification.
✪ Information Sharing Between Federal & State Agencies
The order also directs that the Commissioner of Social Security shall make available the Social Security Number Verification Service, the Death Master File and “any other Federal databases containing relevant information” to help identify and confirm voter eligibility.
The order also conditions federal election-related funds on states complying with federal laws on election integrity.
✪ Bidenbucks To Get The Axe
Former President Joe Biden issued Executive Order 14019, which mandated federal agencies register and mobilize voters. The order was created “with the express intent of increasing election participation among minority groups that tend to vote disproportionately Democrat.” These so-called “Bidenbucks” were used to disproportionately give Democrats and Democrat goals a biased advantage.
While Trump rescinded Biden’s executive order upon taking office, his Tuesday executive orders directs “the heads of all agencies, and the Election Assistance Commission” to “cease all agency actions implementing” Bidenbucks and “submit … a report describing compliance with this order” within 90 days.
✪ Eliminating Late Counting
Election Day used to hold a special significance — elections were supposed to be held on a uniform day nationwide. But during the 2020 election (that was rife with irregularities), several states changed their rules to “permit late ballots (that in some cases lacked a postmark) to be counted as valid so long as they arrived within an allotted time frame.” Many of those rules also remained in effect during the 2024 election. Election Day has now turned into Election Months, and ballots that arrive after Election Day can also be counted indefinitely in certain states. It’s an awkward patchwork of election laws.
Trump’s executive order directs the Attorney General to “take all necessary action to enforce [federal law] against States that violate these provisions by including absentee or mail-in ballots received after Election Day in the final tabulation of votes for the appointment of Presidential electors and the election of members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives.”
✪ Paper Ballots
The Election Assistance Commission is directed by Trump’s executive order to issue “appropriate guidance establishing standards for voting systems to protect election integrity.”
The guidance shall:
“provide that voting systems should not use a ballot in which a vote is contained within a barcode or quick-response code in the vote counting process except where necessary to accommodate individuals with disabilities and should provide a voter-verifiable paper record to prevent fraud or mistake.”
Several states do not use any hand-marked paper ballots. In Georgia, for example, voters mark their ballot on a touchscreen before a print-out summary and QR code of their vote is created. That print-out summary is then scanned in to be tabulated. The problem with the current system, as Morgan County Democrat Party Chairwoman Jeanne Dufort testified during Curling v. Raffensperger, is that the machine “interprets your vote and sends it to a printer.” That means a voter’s intention can only be inferred by whatever summary and QR code is printed. However, the printouts aren’t always accurate. Northampton County, Pennsylvania voters who voted in a November 2023 election had their “yes” votes flipped to “no” on the printout version of their vote summary. ✪

TRUMP DEPT OF ENERGY PAUSES BIDEN HOME APPLIANCE RULES

nited States. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright said this week the Department of Energy (DOE) has further paused & postponed the effective dates for three Biden-era home appliance mandates. The mandates were previously postponed in February.
According to the DOE’s March 24 statement, the Department has delayed “effective dates for three home appliance rules: Test Procedures for Central Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps, Efficiency Standards for Walk-In Coolers and Freezers, and Efficiency Standards for Gas Instantaneous Water Heaters.”
The Department has also officially withdrawn four conservation standards that applied to ceiling fans, dehumidifiers, external power supplies, and electric motors.
The Department said:
The decision “marks a key step in lowering costs, enhancing performance, and expanding options for American consumers.”
The Biden-era rule on central air conditioners and heat pumps amended test procedures for these appliances, with manufacturers required to use the new test procedures on their products. The previous effective date of the rule was set at February 6.
New regulations on coolers, freezers and gas water heaters amended energy conservation standards for these appliances, with the updated rules initially set to be effective from February 21, and regulations for gas water heaters initially were to be effective from March 11.
At the time, the Department Of Energy under the Biden Administration, said that the updates “would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified.”
In 2023, consumer watchdog Alliance for Consumers calculated the cost of President Joe Biden’s regulations on appliances such as water heaters, air conditioners, gas stoves, and other devices and found these measures would cost the average American household more than $9,100.
In its decision to delay the effective dates of the three home appliance rules, the DOE said it acted in accordance with President Donald Trump’s Jan. 31 executive order “Unleashing Prosperity Through Deregulation.”
The presidential action aims to “alleviate unnecessary regulatory burdens” and prevent the federal regulation from imposing “massive costs on the lives of millions of Americans.”
Wright said that the DOE is taking “critical steps” to help American families prosper under the Trump Administration. Wright said:
“By removing burdensome regulations put in place by the Biden administration, we are returning freedom of choice to the American people, ensuring consumers can choose the home appliances that work best for their lives and budgets. This power should not belong to the Federal Government.”
✪ Tackling Appliance Overregulation
Republican lawmakers have also taken action against the Biden Administration’s policies targeting consumer appliances.
In January, the House passed a resolution to repeal new energy standards which targeted consumer gas-fired instantaneous water heaters. Eleven lawmakers from the Democrat Party joined Republicans in voting in favor of the resolution.
At the time, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said that the American people “made it clear they want lower costs and more choices, and we are keeping our promise to undo the damage of the last administration.”
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) supported the resolution, criticizing the new standards for gas water heaters, warning that the rules would push up costs and create “unnecessary challenges,” thus significantly affecting builders and homeowners. The association said in January:
“The push for a shift to more expensive condensing gas water heaters presents substantial hurdles for remodeling and replacement projects, especially in older homes. Furthermore, NAHB is concerned that this rule is part of a broader agenda to phase out natural gas appliances, ultimately limiting consumer choice and driving up utility costs.”
DOE also said in February that it was developing a new energy efficiency category for natural gas tankless water heaters.
“Creating a new category for these popular and low-cost water heaters exempts these products from the Biden–Harris Administration’s onerous rules and gives the American people the power to choose the best option for their homes and budgets.” ✪
▶️ TEXAS: SHARIA LAW WILL NOT PASS

TEXAS: Sharia Law Will Not Pass

lll
exas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a forceful investigation into a real estate project linked to the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC), known as EPIC City, a 402-acre development in Josephine, Texas, intended to be a Muslim stronghold with a mosque, Islamic schools, and over 1,000 homes.
Paxton issued a Civil Investigative Demand (CID) to Community Capital Partners, LP (CCP), the entity behind the project, to examine potential violations of Texas consumer protection laws, according to an official statement from his office.
This move comes after weeks of controversy, following Governor Greg Abbott’s denunciation of the project as having “serious legal issues” and his assertion that “Sharia law is not allowed in Texas, nor are Sharia cities or no-go zones.”
EPIC City, promoted by the East Plano Islamic Center, has been accused of attempting to establish a community that could incorporate elements of Sharia Law, something Republican State Representative Jeff Leach of Plano called a threat to Texas laws in a letter to Paxton.
The project includes plans for a mosque, a faith-based K-12 school, senior housing, a community center, and a college, all funded through the sale of $80,000 shares to buyers, according to Yasir Qadhi, a resident scholar at EPIC.
However, alarm bells rang when it was revealed that EPIC is the “sole beneficiary of the profits” from EPIC City, according to the center’s own promotional materials, raising suspicions about the project’s transparency.
Paxton’s investigation aims to uncover any legal violations, and the CID could lead to fines, investor refunds, or even a court order to halt the project if irregularities are found, such as potential violations of the Fair Housing Act.
Abbott and Paxton are not alone: X users have expressed outrage, with viral posts warning about the “endgame” of Islamic communities that, according to them, do not seek to assimilate but to impose their own laws.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations has criticized these actions, alleging they demonize Muslims, but Paxton and Abbott stand firm, prioritizing Texas sovereignty over what they consider a covert threat.
The controversy fits into a broader context:
Texas is considering becoming the first US state to officially ban Sharia Law, a measure gaining traction among conservatives.
During his first term, President Trump took drastic measures against Muslim immigration, including a travel ban on majority-Muslim countries, and in 2025, he signed an executive order to review the entry of nationals from countries with “deficient vetting.”
This showdown in Texas reflects a larger struggle for American identity, where progressive open-border policies have, according to critics, allowed foreign ideologies to infiltrate under the guise of diversity.
Enough with progressive nonsense! Texas, under the leadership of Paxton and Abbott, is now sending a clear message: we will not yield to Islamization nor allow Sharia law to creep onto American soil, and with Trump in the White House, this battle will intensify until any attempts to undermine our Christian and patriotic values are crushed.
Texas will not bow to anyone & Sharia will be eradicated once and for all! ✪
▶️ BERNIE SANDERS & AOC: 100 YEARS OF SOCIALISM

BERNIE SANDERS & AOC: 100 YEARS OF SOCIALISM

nnn
his writer has watched the presentations of Senator “Boynee” Sanders and Representative Alexandria “Covetous” Cortez in Colorado. The latter’s speech reveals her deeply Marxist commitments as she referred over and over again to the working class as a mantra intended to evoke class resentment. This mantra is a centerpiece of communist rhetoric since the publication of the Communist Manifesto in 1848. Not only was she replaying the communist mantra of the working class (“the proletariat”) being abused by “the bourgeoisie” (the capitalist overlords), which has been used in American political life since the International Workers of the World were active in the 1880s, but she also kept repeating the worn out, clichéd communist word, “solidarity.”
Yet this term, “working class” — so popular with communists in the Democrat Party (now a sizable number since the 110-page pact between Sanders and Biden was signed in 2020) — now includes the homeless, the extremely indigent, and the millions of illegal migrants who were admitted during the Biden years. The term “working class” is a catch-all term for anyone who is having a struggle living within their means or find themselves living on the streets or on the dole.
Workers are offended by being lumped together with these other groups and do not believe that their desire for their “rightful share” of American prosperity is in the same category as illegals or the dispossessed. Bernie especially hammered home the divide between the poor and the working class (again, lumped together) and the richest of the rich. It was a negative rant of abuse, as was Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s speech.
When Sanders spoke after Ocasio-Cortez, he tried to arouse envy and disgust as he pointed out the economic power of certain high-level billionaires working with Trump and Elon Musk in our new Executive Branch administration. He lambasted our society because fewer and fewer people can aspire to homeownership; and because credit card debt is skyrocketing in order for the citizenry to make ends meet. He lambasted Vanguard, BlackRock, and State Street because they are three investment companies that own more than 50% of 95% of our corporations. However, other sources dispute the percentage of actual companies owned.
He also did not comment on the extraordinary inflation created during the Biden presidency that devastated many households during just the past four years, nor the extraordinary public debt of our national government (and many state governments) from wasteful and leftist-driven spending literally for many decades. He did not mention that the top 1% of earners pay 40% of the taxes in the U.S. He also did not mention the astronomical waste and extravagance evident in federal expenditures. None of these realities fits into the narrative he was attempting to sell.
Nor did he express any gratitude for the hundreds of millions of dollars of waste and fraud now being uncovered and remedied by DOGE. Trillions in unnecessary and immoral expenditures — much of it certainly being graft, although this is never said publicly — is being revealed as part of healing our broken and distorted economy. However, in his blowhard remarks, Sen. “Boynee” failed to give any credit to the Trump Administration for resisting this decades-old trending of extensive imbalance in the federal balance sheet.
When my father was active in forming the Transit Workers Union chapter for public trolley car employees (motormen, conductors, and repair units) in Philadelphia in the early 1940s, there were quite a few communist activists in the start-up. However, since most of the unionists were Irish or Italian Catholics, they forced out the communist faction because of the communist rejection of belief in the Christian God, sometimes resorting to force to do so. Other aspects of their identity as workers came into play in deciding what it meant to be “working class.” For one thing, the working class had to work. There were no food stamps, welfare payments, free cell phones or first-class hotel rooms for the indigent at that time.
Incredibly, though more than 100 years have passed, the language of the speeches by Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders is very much the same as that used more than one hundred years ago by Eugene V. Debs, three-time Socialist candidate for president of the USA. He lost each time and was eventually imprisoned for opposing our entry into WWI. He also considered it of utmost importance to promote solidarity with the working class, and he explicitly stated that the term “working class” is to be identified with the Marxist term “proletariat.”
Debs’s depiction of the systematic conspiracy of the rich against the rest of society was stated here, here, and here. One commentator wrote about Debs, “Debs feared the rise of the monolithic corporate state. He foresaw that corporations, unchecked, would expand to ‘continental proportions and swallow up the national resources and the means of production and distribution.’” Sanders’s rant at the Colorado rally continues to echo that same view.
Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez hold these views, which are the same as those of Debs, even though unions have been recognized in the USA and there has been a vast leftward move of our politics since the administrations of Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Further, since Debs, communism came into Russia, which became the USSR and eventually collapsed. Later, after WWII, the revolution in China led by Mao established the PRC. This communist PRC was modified to allow capitalist activity by Western corporations in empowerment zones beginning in the late 1980s, which must have been very disappointing to the hardcore Sanders.
In short, it is this writer’s view that their “tour” of speech-making is a deranged flight into a political mindset from more than 100 years ago — a mindset that failed then and is even more irrelevant today. They are both suffering from a politically motivated delusion. ✪
