Copper John: DOGE & Government’s Betrayal Of The 16th Amendment

The 16th Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified in 1913 and gives Congress the power to tax income without limit by state or census. The original income tax amounts were established at 1% to 7% based on gross income. Those amounts were slightly increased in 1918 due to World War I. 

However since then, the income tax burden on Americans has dramatically grown & increased to directly impact the lives of Americans in every way conceivable. Americans are now taxed at every opportunity in a myriad of ways. We are taxed coming and going on every sort of transaction we engage and every asset we own. This is not a new development as we as a nation have long since struggled with ever increasing tax burdens.

It’s very interesting to note historically how the almost universal dislike for the 18th Amendment (Prohibition) brought about its eventual repeal only 13 years later by the 21st Amendment. Are we really to believe the American People have grown so comfortable and accustomed to such ever increasing & oppressive government taxation that we have never made any attempts whatsoever to repeal the 16th Amendment after more than 112 years? 

Our revolutionary ancestors went to war with Britain over far less; a paltry 3% tax levied on the colonies. How have we allowed ourselves to reach this point where we are now the most heavily taxed country on Earth? It’s been the same old argument since income taxation began. The Government just expects & demands we pay an ever increasing portion of our labors to them and they must ensure the wealthy (the current dog whistle word is ‘billionaires’) “pay their fair share.” Not so long ago, the government’s dog whistle word was the word “millionaires,” but now since most of the grifters in Congress have already millionaires themselves, they have to point their fingers elsewhere up to the next higher tax bracket to force them “Pay their Fair Share.” That takes the pressure and attention off of their wealth.  However, the American People already know the ugly truth about “fair shares” and where their tax money goes. Is the social contract we entered into with the 16th Amendment in good faith with Government even VALID anymore?  Or, has our Government violated their end of the bargain with their overreaching greed and blatant disregard for the taxpaying masses?

✪ Government Expenditures

Of course, it requires money to keep a Government functional & unfortunately, lots of money. And most Governments do not have the means to create their own wealth. As a rule, governments generally take instead of produce. Domestic programs, infrastructure, defense, education, homeland security, entitlements and other government expenditures require constant sources of financing to remain operational. Domestic public work projects and programs in particular such as construction and repair of highways, dams, bridges, railways require massive amounts of money over extended time periods be completed. These kinds of investments of taxpayer funds are obvious and necessary. You can see maintenance crews replacing track and railroad ties, or experience the inconvenience of having to navigate interstate highway expansion and resurfacing projects. Bridges & spans are almost always in some constant state of repair. When it comes to providing for our national defense; there are troop salaries, weapon systems, research & development & overseas bases to consider. These are all legitimate government investments of our tax dollars which are required to provide for and maintain our national security.

However, there is unfortunately also an incredible amount of waste and corruption involved in the Government management of our taxes.Tremendous amounts are poured into failed government agencies and programs such as the Department Of Education which deliver absolutely no positive return on investment or improving social conditions. Since the Department Of Education was established by Jimmy Carter, the educational ranking of American students among other industrialized nations has fallen from first to last. Yet, the United States Government spends more money on education than anyone else; and we are left with having absolutely nothing to show for it. The Department of Education is obviously a complete failure, yet we continue to waste billions of dollars on it every year.  Unfortunately, the DOE is not the only loser we fund with tremendous amounts of our taxpayer dollars. The same can also be said for the Department Of Homeland Security. If we wanted, we could question the very legitimacy of many of these wasteful government departments and agencies by evaluating their legality as unconstitutional as a 10th Amendment issue, but that’s another entirely different discussion for another time.

✪ Enter D.O.G.E

One of Trump’s many campaign promises was that he would eliminate wasteful government spending by exposing where our hard earned tax dollars actually go and how they are spent. This is precisely where his brilliance of teaming up with Elon Musk reveals itself. During the 2016 election cycle, Trump told us he already had more than enough of his own money and that he could never be bought or influenced by outside interests. As the richest man in the World, Musk also cannot be bought or influenced. That’s why he’s an excellent choice to investigate and uncover what our government has really been up to. Musk and his wrecking crew went to work the day after the election. In less than only one month, Musk and his Department Of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have discovered and uncovered billions upon billions of dollars in government corruption, waste, fraud and abuse. They have also discovered TRILLIONS in untracable payments. Trillions of dollars which have just disappeared into the system without any way of knowing where or to whom they actually went.

And all of this happened even before DOGE’s official examination of the Departments Of Defense and Education. Social Security has now also been shown to be a bottomless black hole rife with fraud, theft and mismanagement.The money allocated to provide for our border security has instead been turned into an endless gravy train of cash to pet NGOs and other organizations which are only in the business of flooding this country with illegals for the Democrats. In other words, the Government has been using our own money against us to destroy the country. 

These NGOs transfer Government funding between one organization and another making it extremely hard to document and trace. However, Musk, DOGE and Big Balls are on the job and producing staggering evidence how our tax dollars are being spent and wasted with a complete disregard for the taxpayers. I could cite numerous additional examples here, but the American People are now already wise to what this corrupt government has been up to; as it appears the Left has been using our tax dollars to fund their Marxist agenda around the world as well as here at home. It is of paramount importance and vital to our continued survival as a Republic that DOGE be allowed to continue their mission until completion without being obstructed by the same group of traitors and crooked politicians who have saddled the country with $37 trillion dollars of debt. The American People need, deserve and demand to know the truth. There must be accountability.

✪ Has The US Government Voided The 16th Amendment?

Thanks to the criminal corruption of our Government’s theft and irresponsibility, Americans are now stuck living with the economic ramifications of an overwhelming amount of national debt. This outright theft of our national wealth has fueled inflation and reduced our quality of life and standard of living. The only solution being offered by this government seems to be to continue kicking the can down the road; to pass this burden of debt on to future generations of Americans yet unborn. Before DOGE, we already knew and suspected our lawmakers were raiding Social Security and Medicare funds. We’ve all felt the sting of an ever increasing tax burden under the drive to tax everything which can possibly be taxed; yet we continue to watch the amount of wasteful spending and debt generation rise unabated, month after month, year after year. Unfortunately, the grifters in our Congress feel very little motivation to practice any kind of fiscal responsibility because they don’t consider it to be our money.

However, DOGE is only getting started and what they uncover with be earth shattering and unbelievable. All of this is much more than just innocent MISMANAGEMENT of our hard earned tax dollars. What is now being uncovered is nothing short of outright criminal THEFT. Treason of the highest order. Our Government is finally being revealed for what it truly is; a racketeering crime syndicate which extorts, launders and funnels stolen taxpayer money to their various preferred operatives, individuals and organizations.

The people who are most complicit and profiting the most from the continuance of this criminal system are the ones who are fighting the hardest against its elimination. The Establishment parasites see an eventual end of their gravy train coming along with the very real possibility of their criminal prosecutions. Perhaps we should remind them that Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution states CONGRESS IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO ACCOUNT FOR THEIR SPENDING. It is now CLEAR, beyond any doubt that by completely betraying their role as responsible stewards of our money, our Government has VOIDED and forfeited the 16th Amendment and their social contract with We The People to continue collecting income taxes from us.✪
