Dems Go Completely Off The Rails In Crazy Treasury Department Protest

epresentative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) made it clear the left was going to be ramping up their protests in the streets against President Donald Trump. Their claims are truly unhinged — because special government employees, Elon Musk and his DOGE team, are operating as part of the Executive Office of the President to review government expenditures. 

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) even accused Musk of “raiding the government, attempting to steal taxpayer money” from the Treasury Department. 

That got a Community Note that noted they can’t even access the money or remove anything when they only have “read-only” access. However, that hasn’t stopped the Democrats from continuing to lie and whip up anger against Trump and Musk. 

So they had all the usual leftist protest operations, including MoveOn, get people to come out to the Treasury, where the Democrats threw a performative fit and even tried to get in the building. Given the wild threats some of the Democrats were making in their speeches, it’s not surprising they allegedly didn’t want to let them in. They carried signs that said “coup” and “no one elected Elon Musk,” seemingly forgetting that most government employees, including the people at USAID, are not elected either. The guy who was elected was Donald Trump, and he’s the one who authorized this review of spending as he is perfectly within his right to do, and that’s what terrifies them. 

But the hysteria was off the charts. This sounded like a threat from Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX):

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) claimed Elon was playing with your grandpa’s social security check:

She said he was “seizing the power that belongs to the American people, and we are here to fight back!”

Remember when “fight,” according to Democrats, was insurrection-y?  There was Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT) who said she would be the “scrappy little dyke” the “movement” needed:

These insane people claimed Musk had somehow broken the law, and they chanted for him to be locked up:

Rep. Ayanna Presley (D-MA) called for agitating in the streets, calling Musk a “Nazi Nepo Baby.” 

There was Mad Max, claiming this wasn’t Musk or Trump’s country, even though they are citizens of this country too. And she encouraged people to “fight.”

Talk about fomenting an insurrection. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) called for people to “Shut down the city!” because “We are at war!” 

The crowd also chanted to “shut down the Senate.” 

If you weren’t already fully convinced of the Democrats’ complete collapse, this action today would probably convince you of it:

They’re still in the grip of their radical left, and they have gone completely off the rails. ✪
